Well, the actual opening was last night (Wednesday) with a concert from Michael Crawford. I went and it was FANTASTIC. That man is amazing.

I went it. I was nice. The line looked daunting but actually moved very quickly. They were taking your picture on the main floor and in the mezzanine and then gave you a picture frame to put it in. I'll have to see what the pic looks like in 48 hours when I download it. I think the lady behind me was clueless. She was talking on the phone to her friend about going to the reopening of the "Sherbet" theater. It made me stop for ice cream on the way back :)

Hey, all I know is that they have doubled the size of the lobby, tripled the number of bathrooms, and made the seats wider with more leg room. Hallelujah!

From what I have seen of the interior, it looks great

I still mourn the loss of such Chicago gems as the Paradise,Tivoli,Southtown,Nortown etc

Never saw this on my many trips to Chicago

It looks like a minature Metropolitan Opera House. Very nice
