So, this production was in Asia and briefly in the US from 2017-2018 the set design was HORRIBLE embarrassingly so. Incredibly cheap looking and taky. They also shortened So Much Better. I hope they will make significant changes to this production before re-launching this production.

I wonder if they've even cast it yet? I heard a lot about how it took months for any callbacks to go out, and they even had another open call after the first round of callbacks. Everything I've heard about it seems sketchy, not to mention the company's place on Equity's do-not-work list. Like jimmycurry01 said, I'm sure it won't be hard to find a better school production anywhere. Go see that instead.
I was hoping someone would put up a topic about this because it is... distressing to look at this production. This production has put out good work before and this Legally Blonde tour is so... out of left field for their typical production value that I'm sitting here wondering what the hell is going on. After seeing what they deem acceptable to put out as a promo video I really do not want to bother seeing it when it comes here locally.
While I can't comment on the physical production as I haven't seen it. But it is interesting that the tour is starting at the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville Arkansas who's subscribers just got the national tour of My Fair Lady with the Moulin Rouge tour playing in February. Those audiences are bound to notice a difference in quality of the physical production (though to be fair the theatre's top ticket for Moulin Rouge is twice as much as Legally Blonde). I would actually like to see Moulin Rouge there as it is a smaller theatre (only 1201 seats) than the Hirshfeld--probably the best theatre to see just about any national tour.

Okay Mean Girls is not perfect and I ain’t trying to ‘defend’ led screens, but please don’t tell me you watched this legally blonde promo and thought “oh this is just like mean girls,” because you might need to get your eyes checked. What I watched on “blondeontourdotcom” was utter trash. It made the mean girls set look like it was the full original production of sunset boulevard.

So they finally posted the cast and some of role allocations are weird as ****...
so Callahan is a prominent role in rhe show, but they're also having him play Elle's father, the admissions director, and the court reporter? Brooke is also playing her mother for some reason?

Wasn't that the OBC track? I'm fairly positive Callahan doubled with the admissions director; thinking on it, I'm pretty sure he played the father as well.

Kevin Pariseau played the Dad and court reporter. Michael Rupert played Callahan.
