This should have been a race between Ragtime vs Chess for Best Revival. Now Ragtime is the only suitable option left.

Let’s hope Lost Boys wins Best Musical. Schmigadoon is another good one.

I can confidently say I don't appreciate her ever but there's a tip: When you switch screen namesmake sure to not champion the same causes every time like defending Kristin, Laura Osnes, Scott Rudin, MAGAts, Charlie Kirk and racism/sexism/homophobia overall. Mix it up a bit, sugar.

I have a different account that I don’t really use much this is my main one but none of those are mine and I don’t hate Lin Manuel Miranda I like Hamilton and In the Heights. I think he is a good composer and actor I just think he’s a little overrated. 
 

Second of all, I don’t know who Scott Rudin is. I like Laura Osnes she was fantastic in Cinderella and think the hate on her is so overblown. I am not defending being anti-vax at all and don’t agree with that viewpoint but she is a brilliant performer and it’s a shame she will probably never work on broadway ever again. I have never defended racism and homophobia and saying such is SLANDER. How outrageous to accuse someone of doing that. I never defended Charlie Kirk I only defended Kristen Chenoweth. And then lastly I don’t know how to switch my screen name I have been trying to do it for years on my other account and it never lets me which is why I made this one.

This article is interesting. It is my belief that this was in fact a great show and the only reason it closed was because Kristen Chenoweth was a victim of cancel culture. Kristen Chenoweth is one of the greatest performers to ever grace the stage and to go through all those months with people on this thread saying awful things about her it’s disgusting. It’s why the Broadway Community is so toxic. One minute they love you the next they treat you like a rat in the gutter.

 I remember sitting there at Queen of Versailles and admiring the strength of this living legend to be giving such a great performance despite all the mean things people are saying about her all the criticism and she still shows up every day and performs. Truly one of the highlights of my year. No one does it like Chenoweth. 

I know she has plenty of critics, but for those of us who still admire her for what she is—a living Broadway legend—maybe it’s time to show some gratitude for everything she’s given to the stage. Instead of tearing her down, why not appreciate the legacy she’s built and imagine what incredible roles she could still take on if she chose to return to Broadway? And honestly, if she decided not to, who could blame her after the way she’s been treated? For those who were so quick to be cruel, maybe an apology is long overdue.

 

How about Kristen Chenoweth as Madeline Ashton and Idina Menzel as Helen?

Although, Im not sure Kristen would want to come back to Broadway after how unfairly she was treated during her run in Queen of Versailles. She deserved better and everyone on this site owes her an apology. You can dislike the show but the things that were said about her we’re disgusting.

Idina, it would be so nice to see her back on stage. She was great in Redwood another show treated so poorly.

Right now Golden Derby is predicting a Schmigadoon and Cats: The Jellicle Ball win. Caissie Levy seems very likely to winBest Actress with an 83% chance. Shoshana with a 65% chance while Nichelle Lewis is at a 26% chance. All others are far behind. Seems like this is Shoshana’s to loose but Nichelle Lewis does have a chance at pulling an upset.


My prediction is Lost Boys will win Scenic Design, Lighting Design, and Featured Actress. Schmigadoon will win Best Book and Orchestrations. Best Musical is a toss-up and could go either way."

Schmigadoon’s book was all over the place. Honestly could see this one going to Titanique.
