"I have to respect his opinion even though I don't approve of what he thinks."
No, you actually don't. You only have to respect that he has a right to have an opinion, and a right to speak his opinions.

Only people who eat Chikin should be allowed to get married. And by chikin I mean Pussy.

Great point.
Thanks, Phyllis. I read about two-thirds of that before I angrily closed the window. I vaguely remember it now.
I'm sure his dancer body gets a lot of attention on Grindr, though.
Dear World (of jesus, of course)
I was totally uninformed about my beloved gays and their dislike of chicken.
When I was starring on Broadway at the Palace, I heard one of the dressers was a chicken-Queen, so I thought for sure they all were like that.
We have to move on from this, just like jesus moved forward after that leper thing.

I say this as someone who is gay and proud: People need to shut up about Chick-Fil-A. Eating their food doesn't automatically make one a homophobe. You're not making a huge political statement either way by eating or not eating a bad chicken sandwich. Am I disgusted with their views? Absolutely. But it's just a stupid fast-food place that gives you diarrhea. We have much bigger battles to fight. The backlash against Chick-Fil-A has only them them because they've gotten so much publicity. As for Bailey Hanks, she's simply an untalented idiot. I'd forgotten she existed and will gladly go back to forgetting her.
Oh, Jesus. (No pun intended)
Yes, you are making a huge political statement if you go there on "Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day" and make a big deal about how you support them. The only reason they had that fvcking day was because us gays got mad at them. So by going there, you're saying "Hey, Fag! F*CK You!"
I'm not going to bother responding to the rest of what you wrote because I've already wasted too much of my time on it.

I was talking generally; not about that specific day. I'm much more concerned about the possibility of Romney moving into the White House than where people get their fast food.
Ok. Well, good for you? Since when are you only allowed to be concerned about one thing at a time? I, for one, am concerned about Romney getting into the White House along with a corporation giving millions of dollars to support laws making my existence less than what it should be, along with parts of that money going to fund a "Kill the Gays" bill.
So if THAT doesn't bother you because you don't like to be bothered with things like that, then you just go and play in the sand box and let the grown ups worry about important things like that.

I'm a preach this here shlt.
I, personally, think that a popular, multi-million dollar nation-wide food chain that openly condemns gay marriage and supports its prevention (and worse) is an excellent target for outrage.
This battle can't and shouldn't only be fought in the halls of government, but in all social fronts. Anti-gay corporations and businesses are as equal as politicians and laws, because they too touch the lives of people.
Chick-Fil-A changed how people perceive something as common as fast food. It's no longer about personal taste in a meal.
Anyone who comes into this thread at this point and starts blathering about how eating a CFA sandwich is about personal freedoms, then I would like to tell you to READ the effin' previous posts before commenting and sounding like an ignorant fool.
As has been stated many many many times, this is NOT ABOUT A RIGHT TO HAVE AN OPINION.
It's about this:
And if you don't get that eating CFA is really about supporting the massacre of homosexuals then you need to open your eyes and try reading a complete article instead of just a pithy headline.

Forgive me if this is going to throw me like a lamb to the slaughter, but there's a big difference between a Christian and a "Christian" or a hypochristian.
Where I'm standing, and the way I was raised, God means love, not hate. You don't have to believe in him and all of this, that's not my business. But I believe I've made this point before- you can't burn a cross and call it God's love, just like you can't put a pretty glove on and still think it won't hurt anyone when you start throwing punches. "Love God, love your neighbor better than yourself, and everything else is just splitting hairs," I believe some Jewish guy once said. Then, some other Jewish guy said "You know, that makes a lot of sense. All of us Jewish guys following that other Jew, and our Gentile friends, should probably stick to those two big rules, and focus a LOT less on the niggly, outdated little ones." And that's all well and good, except that people are full of hate pretty naturally. Hate comes before acceptance, and acceptance comes before love. So you get a lot more sheep thumbing madly through the Bible looking for a passage that says it's okay to stone queers or sluts or Jews or or whoever else they've got a hate-boner for that day, instead of reading ALL THE OTHER PAGES where it says Love thy neighbor, don't judge, God has a purpose in all things, etc.
Bottom line: Just like James Dean is NOT James Deen, my God is not their god. They just have the same first name and a couple of the same friends.
I grew up with people like this. I know countless Christians who have no problem socializing or working with LGBT people, but still believe they're going to hell. Just as they do with Jews, Muslims, unmarried mothers, etc. It's just not something that has a place in polite conversation, so people mistake it for tolerance.
I'm more shocked these Legally Blonde people are shocked that a southern daughter of pastor would be that socially conservative. What were they expecting when they cast her? That she would instantly reject 20 years of brainwashing, her family and her community because a couple of gays gave her a job?
