I'm pleased about the casting of Aoife, but I'm going to wait until much nearer the time before I decide if (or rather when) to go. I'm not going to make previews, and I'm not fussed about seeing it early in the run. I'll wait for reviews.
I wouldn't place too much sway in the sales being lower after previews. It's the time of year when theatre is quieter and promotion hasn't begun in earnest yet. Duncan will no doubt be plugging it when he's on the Blue tour, although I'm not sure if that's set the box office on fire either. However, the general promotion and publicity for that tour can be used for the show too.
I really enjoyed the show on Broadway, though didn't care for Laura Bell Bundy at all. I'd much rather see it with Sheridan. I just hope she's still performing when I can return next February.

Just caught up with this thread and read the Vanessa Feltz bits. A few years ago I was a musical guest on her radio show and she described me as hunky, looking like a Chippendale - I said it was probably down to my Queen Anne legs!
Now, I went to my local gay boozer last night with a mate and there was a pub quiz on. One of the questions was "Which former boyband star recently came out as being bisexual?".
Well, if it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have known the answer.
But I did.
And we ended up winning the pub quiz!
I really feel that I couldn't have done it without you guyz. So if anyone wants to share my prize (or even explain to me what it's for and how it works) just send me a PM.
Anyway, back to Legally Blonde - I've listened to the CD again and that song about shiny shirts and tiny shorts is amusing.
Looking at the credits, what I don't understand is the difference between writing "music and lyrics" (Laurence O'Keefe) and "lyrics and music" (Nell Benjamin). Did they have a scrap to get to see who got to the piano first, and Laurence presumably won?
One give away that they may skimp on expense in that vid is the part one all the girls turn around to spell Elle Woods nwith their jackets like they did on Broadway. However in the video there were only enough girls to spell out Elle Wood, the last girl picks up a bag with the letter 's' on, something they do in the scaled down touring version of the show.
Namo i love u but we get it already....you don't like Madonna
I agree that while Sheridan isn't as vocally strong as LBB but she's nails the comedy brillantly. She has a good voice but I have a CD of Bugsy Malone which she was in before she was famous and it was a lot stronger, I guess smoking has taken its toll.
Not that I didnt like LBB as Elle,I thought she was fantastic, but Sheridan seems like she's going to be really likeable and funny, it's going to be a very different take I think. I'm also intrigued by Jill Halfpenny as Paulette
Ohhh, I like it. :) Sheridan's Elle voice is much less grating than LBB's. Don't get me wrong, I like LBB's Elle, but, c'mon, her voice gets really annoying after listening to the OBCR for a while.
Alex Gaumond also makes a really cute Emmett. I love his dorky dancing. :)
While this recording may not sound as vocally strong as LBB's recording, LBB was rather hit or miss when performing live. I hope Sheridan has the stamina to vocally handle the run. As far as acting, based on that video, Sheridan was far superior to LBB in her comedic choices. I'm even more excited about seeing it now.
