Daniel Bogart.
Now which of the Bogart brothers is he? Is he the one that was in the RENT tour as Mark or the other one?
Ah darn, I was hoping Drew Sarich would play him. For anyone who noticed, what other solos/roles did Drew play besides Grantaire?
EDIT: also when are they going to release production photos? I'm being very impatient.

Drew is also the innkeeper (before Valjean's Soliloquy)
Kitzarina, that's Dominic Bogart. Remember that tour was non-Equity. Daniel was already on the Les Miz tour at the time Dominic was cast in Rent.

Eponine, they were taking photographs on Tuesday night, so I'd assume soon.
Other than Matt, I just can't help getting those crazy Bogarts confused. Now that Jessica Boeveurs has joined the clan, I fully expect them to become the Baldwin family of the Great White Way.
PS--Saw the non-equity tour when Dominic was in it and actually enjoyed it more than when I saw the show on Broadway. The Roger was MUCH better.

What guys are in the chain gang with Valjean?

God I hope we get a recording of this! And that Daphne is replaced before then, but that's wishful thinking, I know.
"getting your Bogarts straight" ...taken from my BWW interview with Matt when he was in Philly a few years ago. :)
""I commented about Matt’s background growing up in Dayton Ohio with three other brothers who are all finding their way in the entertainment industry. He related one by one how his younger brother Kevin lives in Seattle, and is more of a musician than an actor, studying classical and Jazz guitar and he’s a singer. His brother Dominick, second youngest just moved out to LA and he’s interested in trying out the film industry. His brother Daniel is with the Les Miserables tour, understudying Marius and actually goes on a lot and has been enjoying that for a good two and a half years.""

Someone on talkingbroadway said Valjean's death scence was slightly different. How so?
"Drew is also the innkeeper (before Valjean's Soliloquy)"
Are you referring to the scene where Valjean goes into the inn and is kicked out, following his being fired as a day labourer? If so, I thought that was cut from the musical, or did they bring it back?
i loved it. This was my 3rd time seeing this {1 at Broadway Theatre 1 at imperial and at broadhurst} still great. Daphine wasn't bad. She is different and is very good for the role

They brought it back. Ali Ewoldt mentioned it here (it's called "little inn"): http://lesmiz.lohudblogs.com/2006/10/03/day-16-surprise-day-off/

I must have missed that when I read it before. But another verse to Turning? Why??
Purpleprince: Finally! Someone who didn't think Daphne was bad! I just have such a hard time believing that such a talented woman is as bad as everyone is saying. Different is not always bad! Guess I will see for myself soon enough! :)

Tonight was my second time seeing Les Mis, I saw the first preview as well, and i must say that in that short span of time Daphne has become SO much more comfortable and better. Great performance.

bwaybud... Can you elaborate on tonight's performance? What kids went on?
I've never seen LES MIS, ever. I look forward to seeing it for the first time with what appears to be a great group of actors.
Glad (and somewhat amazed) to hear that Daphne is improving!
I can't possibly imagine that she has improved in the role...but I will definitely see it again after it opens and report back!
Is it the same old physical production or have they done something exciting and new?
