Lindsay Mendez Wicked Matinees?

Does anyone know if Lindsay Mendez performs matinees in Wicked or if an alternate goes on?

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your post but I also have a question re: Lindsay Mendez--Is that Lindsay playing Elphaba in the TV promo for Wicked?

There is a standby, not an alternate ie. Evita/Phantom, there wouldn't be any reason she wouldn't be on barring any unforeseen circumstances. I saw Lindsay over the Summer at a matinee. She's not to be missed! The last tv promo I saw, and the clips that run in Times Square are of Stephanie J. Block on tour I believe.

Yes it's definitely Stephanie in the promo..but I have not been able to figure out who is Glinda in the same promo. Driving me nuts...

The Glinda is Kendra Kassebaum.

Lindsay doesn't usually do 8 shows a week. It's not always matinees that she misses, though. From personal experience, I went on a Sunday matinee and she was out. (Though Carla Stickler was wonderful.)
