re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

Didn't you all just say recently that Raven was going to be Elphaba as well...?

I love Linday. I love her CDs. I love the movies I've seen. I haven't seen HERBY. I can't wait to see Georgia Rule.

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

She can't even show up to a movie set. She could hardly do 2 shows a week.

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

You don't know what she can do.

Yeah, she maybe have work issues, but I think y'all are being a little harsh.

If Lohan was Elphaba, you'd HAVE to cast Duff as Glinda. Period.

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

It'd be a nightmare, but damnit, after seeing Wicked a million times, I would pay money to see Lindsay all drunk and non-rehearsed trying to do a live broadway show playing a role that more than requires a strong NATURAL belting singing voice, it would be the greatest spoof to Wicked EVER.

But I believe this story as much as I believe the one where Linsay is in talks to play Sailor Moon.

She may be powerful enough to get the role, but I don't think she's that stupid, it's the second worst thing to shaving your head.

I swear to Dionysus, I will make a special trip up to NYC and stand outside with a sign in protest if that no-talent wench actually follows through with this.

Hopefully casting will realize she's W-R-O-N-G for anything except being a media-hungry, rehabbing hussy.

UGH! All is lost.

KEEP LINDSAY LOHAN OFF THE GREAT WHITE WAY!

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

She is a great actress but come on, eight shows a week for her? She can barely sing without studio effects. She would probably give out after a week.

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

NOOO!!! PLEASE GOD NO!!!!
i just came from watching wicked tonight...
she can't be elphie vocally and plus come on there is much better talent out there for someone to play the role of elphaba...she's only a household name for movies, not theatre...

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

off topic for a bit, what is it about her that makes her a good actress? I just don't see it. She does nothing for me acting wise.
I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)

"no-talent wench"

Have any of you seen MEAN GIRLS? Lindsay's a comedic genius.

As much as I dislike Lindsay, it would be a million times worse to have Hilary as Glinda. At least Lindsay can act, Hilary doesn't have one talented bone in her body. Her vocal cords would probably break trying to sing No One Mourns The Wicked.

Lohan/Duff would be a marketing dream though. And they are the right age. Oh the wonders of digital sound editing. They would sound ok on a movie soundtrack. No live performances though lol.
How can they see with sequins in their eyes?

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

Lindsay just doesn't have the voice, and don't get me started on Hillary. There's NO way either of them could handle those roles, and especially live and eight times a week.

And if there was a movie they would for sure cast Reese and Alanis Mooresette and not two feauding and semi talented actresses.(but no movie's coming out because the show itself is already making enough money. I'd predict a Wicked movie would be in development hell for 20 years like Les Miserables and if Lindsau and Hillary get phenominal voices by then, then who knows)

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

As absurd as that casting would be, it'd be amazing to see Lindsay as Elphaba with Erin Mackey as Glinda. Erin currently plays Glinda in Wicked in Chicago. And the two worked together ten years ago in the Parent Trap remake. Erin was Lindsay's acting double!

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

why do you guys act like the producers care whether or not someone who is being stunt cast can sing or not?

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

If Lohan was Elphaba, you'd HAVE to cast Duff as Glinda. Period.

stop, can you imagine?

Hillary: an't I make you understand? You're having delusions of grandeur

Lindsay: I'm through accepting limits cuz someone says they're so

together we'll be the greatest team there's ever been...

re: Lindsay eyes Wicked role?

This came from the UK paper The Daily Star and other papers picked up the story a few days later

The daily Star has to be the WORST paper for fact they are all about cheap stories what rarely turn out to be true (they somehow manage to get nearly every story wrong)

omg that would be horrible...one I can't stand the girl, and two there is no way I could picture her in that role even if I did like her.
