I think that would be cool to see her as Elphaba. Maybe this is a misconception of mine... but doesn't Elphaba have black hair?

Idina's hair now is a wig
#58

'workshopping'

Yep. Her hair isn't that dark, nor is it that long. She's got a hat on, anyway.

Along with the wig thing, did you ever consider her scalp?

It would be impossible to get the green up through her hairline without getting it all in her hair.

Anyway, when you sit close enough, you can see the line...it's a wig.
Andrew, tonight isn't about you! It isn't even about me!!! - [FD]

Clearly, Lisa needs to play Elphie so that I can rejoice. And then die. Because I would die.

Lisa's good and all ~ but she wasn't that great, she didn't *steal* the show. Whoever plays Elphaba has to be able to STEAL the show!

*respectfully disagreeing*

I dunno - I think you needed presence to play Amneris, and to play her well. I saw Sherie and Felicia, two of the best, and thought Lisa was definitely on the same plane.

Well I don't think Sherie, or Felicia, stole the show.

<--Maricel on the other hand - I am waiting for Wicked in Germany!

aw, Sherie SO stole the show. Then again, I didn't see Heather that time, so I suppose the show was usually stolen by her. *shrugs*

*tear*

I defintely agree with you that she didn't steal the show. I thought in Aida, everyone was equally there... I was especially surprised with Deborah Cox's performance. I do remember that Lisa's songs were fun to watch.

Sending some love to Kangaroo too!

'workshopping'

Don't get me wrong, I love ALL THREE, especially Sherie! But the fact is, Elphaba needs to have a strong, powerful voice and needs to steal the show. I just don't see Lisa doing that. I mean, her voice doesn't have that rough, but sweet, "don't-mess-with-me" sound.

To make it better though, Lisa would do INTG very well!

P.S. Love Deborah Cox
