I just want to know where are people finding a demo cd? And I have to say that I am very excited for this show. The girl playing Ariel looks like she is going to be amazing! I can't wait to see the logo and pictures! When is the website coming out?

Ursula: Sherie Rene Scott
Sebastian: Titus Burgess [sp?]
Scuttle: Eddie Korbich
Flounder: Cody Hanford
Eric: ?!?!?!?
When will we know?!"
you forgot John Treacy Egan as chef Louie

I saw a picture of Micheal Arden on Broadway.com he looks a little too young to play Eric.

I think he looks fine-he's cute and how old is Eric actually supposed to be? I still wish it was Aaron Lazar or Cheyenne Jackson....

I think it would be ok to have a younger Prince Eric. Ariel is only 16.

It doesn't really matter how old the cast are as long as they look all right in relation to each other. Michael Arden is just SO DAMN YOUTHFUL looking (long may it last!) that he could end up looking young in relation to Sierra. Ariel may be 16, but if (for example!) he looks 18 and Sierra looks more like 21, it's still not going to work.
FWIW, I think Michael Arden could work very nicely as Eric, as long as he played it right. ^_^

Hm I never thought of Michael Arden as in the running for Prince Eric but I would love it if he did get the role. I wonder when we will find out who got cast!
"But I relish every brillant inspired moment. This is who I'm determined to be- an actor/singer/dancer-no, I take that back, this is who I am. These people are my tribe, my destiny. I know it.

i dunt think michael arden would be very good in this role as he hasnt got that 'prince' appeal to be eric in the little mermaid.

This board is on crack.

Actually rumor is Disney is re-thinking the casting of one member. Smart given he under a load of controversy surrounding his last job. Lets hope they do the right thing before the press and public boycott the show before it opens!!!!

The casting people are on crack if they don't cast Arden.
But alas I hear they didn't.
He's too talented for that part anyway.
No Grimsby is another actor without a controversy.

James Barbour was the last actor in a controversy. When he was in Beauty and the Beast, a young girl claimed he sexually harrased her backstage. In all honesty, I can't imagine they were looking at him for Prince Eric...

That did not happen when Barbour was in BEAUTY...
But still, he will never work for DISNEY again.
