I just got into a musical that's one of my absolute favorite shows, Jekyll and Hyde, as the ensemble. I was wondering what kind of sweet little anectdotes at the end of my bio I could put about theater? Short, sweet and heartfelt? Anyone? Thanks!
I'm so not trying to be witchy: but if you want it to be heartfelt -- doesn't it have to, well, come from you? And what kind of anecdote would FIT at the end of a bio? Do you "saying"?
Personally, after I write a bio for a show, I try to tie the show into the bio itself (esp. when presenting it in a third person POV)
For example here's mine when I played Warbucks in Annie
"Dylan would not be here if it were not for his sister, brothers, friends and mom showing him that there is always a "tomorrow"
Cheesy? Hell yea, but it's cute haha

I do understand that you're not trying to be witchy or anything but I have no way with words at all.....lol. I'm trying to find a little short "theater is life" kind of quote. I know it needs to be heartfelt but I have no way with words. Just putting something at the end that expresses how much theater means to me and that it's my life and my passion.
So you are just looking for a tagline of sorts....I see.
Hmmmm.....
Life is Good. Theater is Better.
She's never happier than when performing on stage.
She's so happy to have found a home in the theater.
It's hard to be heartfelt for others.
