I did it a few years ago when Liza with a z came out. It was at the Barnes & Noble here in LA. The line was so much fun.

If I brought my Liza's At The Palace windowcard, do you think I'd be able to get it signed? Or do they usually limit it to CD's?

I believe they will be very strict about nothing else getting signed.

You think they'll be strict about what she signs? Where they when she did Barnes & Noble in LA? I would REALLY love to get my Liza with a Z album signed....

Um, it's Barnes and Noble, not the Palace stage door.
They sponsor the signing so that their customers can buy a book or a CD and get it signed.

I'm sure Liza would think it would be just "terrific!" to sign your album, but Barnes and Nobel is pretty strict, so the CD wil have to do.

Actually they want to sell the new CD, so buy it. Open it so it can't be returned and when you get up to Liza, show her you bought the CD but you'd like her to sign the Poster. They got the sale, you get your poster signed, everybody wins. I've done it before and the world is still turning.

They'll also be selling her other CDs. There's a new 2-CD set of her A&M recordings that I'm sure she (and B&N) would be happy for you to buy and sign.

Oh, that's a wonderful set. It also includes the album of her concert at the Olympia in Paris, which is a real treat.

I was at the Joan Rivers signing last night and they had to turn people away.
There was a notice up that for the Liza signing they would start wristbanding people at 8 AM and only people who purchased a CD would be given wristbands.
