Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

"Haha. Why did he ever leave???" apparently one of the the following:
a) too many snots pointing out spelling errors. b) too many spelling errors. c) too many people excited to see him. d) too many people using five dots instead of three in an ellipsis. e) too many people italicizing the word "left" when italicizing the word "exact" would make more sense.
Art has a double face, of expression and illusion.
Anyway, thanks guys for noticing my absence -- but let's please move onto more interesting topics.......

I've seen a couple of shows recently (Iphigenia 2.0, Midsummer Night's Dream), but nothing I would wholeheartedly recommend, though I did enjoy the rude mechanicals and some of the farce-like elements in Midsummer's second act.

Robbiej, don't you have a parole hearing somewhere you're supposed to be attending? Or a child somewhere you could be neglecting? Or a pimp somewhere you could be short-changing?

Margo Channing and Michael Bennet are two out of three main reasons I visit this board. I don't post much, but scour the threads for their posts as they are often the most intelligent and well informed. Plus I just like their tastes, and trust what they say in pretty much all areas.
However, both indicated that they were not posting partly because there was nothing worth commenting on which is not really fair. I believe both with "missing" during the Tonys, Patti Lupone's return to Gypsy, Xanadu being a surprise hit, announcement of many new shows next season, etc...
Just needing a break--absolutely fine; but no opinions on any of the above, or nothing worth commenting on....really?
Maybe if you didn't say things like "Margo Channing and Michael Bennet are two out of three main reasons I visit this board. I don't post much, but scour the threads for their posts..." they would feel less pressure to be smart and insightful all the time and post more!
