MTV releasing Legally Blonde DVD??

Wiil MTV be releasing the taped Broadcast of "Legally Blonde: the musical"? Now that the show is closing I thought they may be releasing it?

Also, will "The Seach for the next Elle Woods" be released on DVD?

Nope. MTV doesn't own the rights to the LEGALLY BLONDE taping therefore they can not release it commercially on DVD. Also, though MTV does release on DVD some of their series and some of their reality shows, its unlikely that THE SEARCH FOR ELLE WOODS is even in consideration. It has too much of a limited demographic which isn't profitable in their eyes, unfortunately.

They COULD release it on DVD, but the producers would have to go back to the unions and negotiate the dvd release, which they won't do until, at the very least, the tour ends.

Dear god, I hope so.

They could sell the MTV recording and LB:TM-TSFTNEW as a package.
