InTheRed, sorry I could not answer your question (I was away for the day...) yet I guess it's all covered :)
I'm pimping Peter Foley (Mano's musical director, who's a brilliant composer/lyricist)'s website. It has a couple of songs from "The Hidden Sky" (which is FANTASTIC! I wish I'd seen this show, cause it seems like an absolute gem)

I believe Sondheim's guest at Mano's concert was Cynthia O'Neal, (president of Friends in Deed for you RENTheads.)
I was just about to ask for pictures.
Sh*t. He's beautiful.

And sweet, and talented, and funny, and charming.... The list goes on and on!
Ok, as promised, here's the set list from his show on Monday.
1.Smile for the Camera
2.Keep it Slow - Mano wrote this some years back (was it in college? Don't remember) for a girl who was in the audience.
3.I didn't catch the name, but it was a song he wrote inspired by Odysseus (With Eisa Davis). It was my favorite of his original songs.
4.A Randy Newman medley (with Melissa Errico)
5.Now We Know (with Asa Somers)
6.An A Cappella Number with some of his Yale classmates.
7.The Hidden Sky (with Marya Grandy)- GORGEOUS song, from the musical of the same name, by Peter Foley (who was the musical director for this show)
8.Vision of Love (with Eden Espinosa)- He called it a guilty pleasure, lol.
9.Another Time (with Michael Cerveris)- It's from Cerveris' album "Dog Eared"
10.Every Little Thing She Does is Magic
11.Teacher (with Alexander Gemignani) - This has already been said, but Mano forgot to introduce him, and Alex came running up the stage with his trumpet. Alex only played the trumpet, he didn't sing.
12.I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For (with Merle Dandridge)
13.What Mano called the only club anthem he ever wrote. Didn't catch the name
14.Beatles Parody (with Matt Heimer, former classmate, who also wrote it) - Hilarious
15.Midnight Train to Georgia - I think he said it was the first song he ever enjoyed performing live.
16.No One is To Blame - This was the "encore"
Anyone else go to this?
I did -- we seem to all share the same sentiment. Mano put on an amazing show! He's one of the most honest performers I've ever seen.
Was there anything in particular you were wondering?

Does anyone know if he's still dating Nancy?
ChildofDestiny, I was there too. I'm just curious about who came from the boards.

Damn damn damn rehearsals. I hated missing this. And I will hate missing it next week as well.
I just got back from the second show. It was fantastic. It was basically the same set as last time, minus the Michael Cerveris song. He also added a bit about the different ways his name is mispelled (with visual aids of checks, and letters, etc). Hilarious!
And since there may be some "higher ups" who read this board, I have to say congratulations on putting on an excellent show. Mano, you really shined, as usual. And Peter, you ****ing rock! I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!

Wow!
Thanks BC, as usual!
Hope you'll share more details if/when they occur to you.
"Higher ups"?? cool!
lol, I'm exaggerating when I say "higher ups". But you never know who reads this board.
More details to come after I've rested. But I had SO much fun tonight!!!!
