Mark Ruffalo replaces John Turturro in The Price

We are excited to announce that three-time Oscar-nominated, Tony-nominated and Emmy & Drama Desk Award-winning actor Mark Ruffalowill be joining Tony Shalhoub, Jessica Hecht and Danny DeVito in our Broadway production of Arthur Miller's The Price. He will be replacing the previously-announced John Turturro, who unfortunately has left the production due to his filming schedule. This change will not affect the schedule for your existing tickets.

Arthur Miller's The Price will begin preview performances on Thursday, February 16, and open officially on Thursday, March 16, 2017. This is a limited engagement through May 7, 2017 on Broadway at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street).

I would take Ruffalo over Turturro any day. This is amazing casting!

This just went from "interested" to "must-see."

I guess I'm getting somewhat more excited about seeing this, which in my mind (and based on ignorance) is a "depressing Arthur Miller show." If anyone has time to enlighten me, I would appreciate it.

They're both great actors and I was excited to see Turturro. Barton Fink is one of my favorite films of all time. Ruffalo is terrific, too. Probably a bigger commercial draw for Roundabout.

Not an upgrade for me. I was looking forward to seeing Turturro.
