I did a search and can't find... I know Matilda states it's "on sold out performances" only... Does anyone know if this is exactly the case? I would like to see the show within the next few weeks. Do they basically (when the box office opens, and when the show isn't sold out), tell everyone in the line to go home or just enter the lotto? Also, any lotto loser seats?

Thanks.

Not sure. I have camped for Bullets, and have not seen anyone out side the theater waiting. I am not sure they are even offering SRO anymore because of the staging and the kids running around the theater.

They still offer standing room, but they have to be fully sold out for them to do it. So they usually will not sell them when the box office opens, unless they are sold out. I would check telecharge the night before you wanna go to see how well the house is sold.

Yes they usually still have standing room at least a couple of times a week. It's not a huge area and the spots are only on one side of the the theater.

But yes^^ they will NOT sell them until the show is sold out..and for most performances, that is right before the show starts... after the lottery. I can only think of one recent Saturday evening where the standing room was sold out by noontime. But that's not common.

Cool. So sounds like I shouldn't bother waiting in the morning, maybe stop by and see what the ticketing status is and then come back for lotto. Is there a separate SRO line at that point that you can stand in but also enter the lotto like BOM? Thanks.

They only start selling SRO after the lotto, if they are sold out. So, enter the lotto, hang out, and then you form a line inside the lobby. Sometimes they have people waiting right up until show time to get tickets.

The don't sell SRO until they're sold out, which usually doesn't happen until just before the show (like someone said). However if for some reason it's sold out a day in advance they will sell SRO when they open the box office.
For most shows that are not really close to selling out they will offer $42 lotto loser seats that are sold right after the lottery.

Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty.
