There have been tv shows that were canceled from network television that have been picked up by either Hulu or Netflix.
Arrested Development was canceled by fox, for example. Few years later Netflix did a couple of more seasons. Same with Designated Survivor from ABC. Hopefully Smash returns in that capacity.

Ahhhh I hope we get something concrete! Kat McPhee mentioned it also in an interview I saw a month or so ago, saying she loves to tease Smash because people still go crazy for it and that there might be some Smash news in the coming months!! So her and Megan have obviously been kept in the loop about the possibility .... of something!

Plot-wise, now that one of them is a Tony winner and the other Tony nominated, anything goes really. But I do hope they can do a reboot or, better, a real production of Bombshell.

I want Angelica Houston to open the new season with "With One Look", as she's talking about a new production she'll bring to Broadway after being absent for 10 years.

I see where you’re coming from. However, Smash isn’t the first show nor would it be the last to fudge the truth of how things are done for the sake of entertainment. Medical shows do it all the time for example

But they are writing DRAMA not a documentary. I hope they now when they are deviating from reality - just trying to make a show people will tune in to. I think that's why I dislilke most shows about teachers: they are just incredibly unrealistic - because I KNOW.
