I agree. Most of the Ednas I've seen you can tell that they are a guy in drag, but Michael Ball actually looks like a woman playing Edna! He looks great!

Wow, Michael looks great. I don't like Tracey's look in this photoshoot. She is just a bit to "pageanted" up with her makeup. But I'm sure thats just for this photoshoot, so I'm not too worried.

He looks like a real woman! He looks great, although too skinny.

Photos are fantastic -- I really didn't recognize Michael at first, but then the cheeky grin gave it a way -- but just a bit.

And to think I spent a couple of my teen years pining after Michael Ball, like so many others. HA!

Although his Edna is rather pretty. It's kind of disconcerting.

This is Leanne Jones first show and im sure she will be amazing, i hope everyone on here routes for her as she has been posting on Broadway World for years and everyone over at West End world who spoke to her is soooooooooo proud of her

Just booked my tickets! Michael really does look outrageous, I'm so excited about seeing him now!

Why, hello Margaret! Yes darling, half past five. Well, everyone, simply le tout Park Avenue and la creme de Hyannis! Well, the press table's going to be awfully crowded... but if you don't mind sharing a folding chair with Harper's Bazaar... Sing? Me? Heavens no, it's Edie's day, not mine... Although people can be so insistent, and I hate to disappoint. Twist my arm, blackmail me, threaten my very life, and who knows? You might get a verse of something...

Brilliant!

I know Michael has said he wanted to play Edna as a woman, not just a man in drag. I think this look has really achieved this! Quite foxy, really...lol

Excellent job on wig, makeup, and costume. Kudos to the artists doing him up so well. He looks likes he's having a great time on this photoshoot. lol.

I LOVE this show...now I guess I will have to check those frequent flyer miles and see if I can see it on the West End. Seeing Michael in any role is NEVER a disappointment and this looks like one that he will give it all he's got, and then some!

Go Edna! Go Edna!!

Oh he looks really great. That will be interesting to see if he plays it more womanly than usual. I agree with everyone- CAST RECORDING.
