ironically, I heard a pretty credible rumor that last year, Anna was approached to be in Chicago. They would wait for her to lose the baby weight and then shock everyone by starring in Chicago (you know they would have sold so many seats to see the trainwreck). I think the stars knew better and did not make it happen.

Posted: 2/16/07 at 12:40pmI don't care what she did or didn't do, I'm just disappointed that we're now putting people in Chicago that weren't famous at any point of their careers. Robin Givens or Huey Lewis may not be the big names now that they were in the past, but Conner is more famous for substance abuse and partying than anything else.

Miss America has a talent portion of the competition. Miss USA does not. Plus, Vanessa Williams did have a few other projects under her belt before "Into the Woods."

Vanessa Williams had done Kiss of the Spider Woman years early. I believe she got very good notices, too.
You cannot compare the two. One has genuine talent the other we'll just have to wait and see.
