two things.
fell in love with broadway when i saw Aspects of Love as a kid and had the whole cast sign my playbill. (in hindsight, yes, not the the greatest show. but i loved it then!)
and second the first playbill that had my bio listed. my mother has it framed along with the others!

Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to post what my most treasured Broadway memorabilia is, other than to say it's really, really cool, and I treasure it with all my heart.

But the second most precious Broadway related item I own is the bottle of Sweeney "prop" blood I was given by one of the castmembers (other fans of the show were lucky enough to get this, along with other misc. memorabilia from that particular show).

I'm in the same boat as Chica with the prop blood, that cast was very good to their fans, I hope to see at least a couple more doing work onstage soon. I've only seen John Arbo around 44th on seperate occasions, is he playing pit for Les Mis or Phantom anyone know?

Definately my Playbill / Program collection. Each one I open has so many memories: the excitement of the day, the stage door, the dinner beforehand etc. I also have almost every program for every show I've seen and I love going through all of them on a rainy day - hell! I do it on a sunny day too!

Don't know what Arbo's been up to. I'm hoping he joins the tour, cause, really, what would the show be without our favorite sexy long hair bass man?

As for the rest of the cast, DL Champlin has another "hat" show at Birdland on Feb 12 (anyone who hasn't, should check it out. Great stuff), Patti Lupone's doing Mahogany at the LA Opera with Audra MaDonald (and directed by Doyle), Cerveris has LoveMusik coming up, and King Lear at the Public, Mano's, of course, doing SITPWG at Reprise, plus a couple of misc benefits in March.

The personalized notes I have gotten from Sutton Foster (back in her Les Miz days), Ashley Brown, and Mara Davi. I also love my 8x10s of Natalie Toro and Andrea Rivette with personal notes to me on them. And all my recordings. Don't know what I'd do without those.

A leather-bound script from the production of Dancin', with hand-drawn sketches of the dance configurations and notes made by one of the original cast members.

My Chicago poster made from an ad promoting the 1st National tour in Los Angeles and a Macy's in-store appearance.

Also a Tommy Tune self-portrait lithograph, signed by him; my program from the Lorelei tour, signed by Carol Channing, and my Evita playbill, which I finally got signed by Patti just before Sweeney closed...

I would say its the original gold A Chorus Line hat from the finale that was worn by Bebe Neuwirth. I have it in a lucite covered cube. I also think my handwritten sheet music signed my Stephen Sondheim from Not A Day Goes By and my hand written sheet music signed by Marvin Hamlish of ONE from A Chorus Line. Theres more handwritten sheet music too

Chica and C, I am SO jealous of you both. You have Sweeney props. Lucky!

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Two letters I got from Broadway people and the earrings Bernadette Peters wore in Annie Get Your Gun and a cast jacket that was auctioned for charity. And the gloves and marriage license used in the Gypsy revival.

3) The souvineer brochure for the first national tour of "Oklahoma"

All purchased this summer at a used bookstore near Fort Worth for a grand total of 11 dollars. All in great condition.

hehe.

The best part about the Sweeney props a lot of fans got was that they were given to us in an envelope with our names written in Sweeney blood.

I've said it before, but that was really the best and most gracious cast I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

Let me see...
my picture of me sitting on the seduction couch from The Woman in White.

A unprinted page of sheet music for "Dear Old Shiz" from a book that our director got from Schwartz's son for our revue. She had copies of papers that had original notes on them (such as lines in scripts and names of cast members during Defying Gravity)

My cutting board signed by almost all of the cast of the Sweeney revival.

alot of my stuff is West End more than Broadway, and I don't own anything that came straight from a show, althought I almost stole a poker chip from the roulette table at Woman in White.

My Assassins CD that's signed by Michael Cerveris, Alexander Gemignani and Merwin Foard. I need to get other people to sign it now too. Perhaps I can track James Barbour down at one of his court dates? Show him some leg?

I have a lot of stuff - some of it going back a long ways. Still, I think my favorite is one of the most recent. It's an opening night Playbill for "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" that's been signed by the original cast leads. This isn't so unique in itself, it's just that I was able to get everyone's autograph except Norberts. I mentioned it to Greg and he took the Playbill with him at the start of the show and then returned it to me at the end - with Norbert's signature. The fact that he did that for me (and autographed it a second time on his bio page) makes it extra special to me.

I have a lot, but since I am a Phantom Phreak I would have to list my Phantom memories as my favorite:

-A ceramic half mask signed by Michael Crawford
-Howard McGillin signed my playbill for the night Phantom became the longest running show in history
-cast signed playbill from Hugh Panaro's final night
-cast signed poster from the touring company starring Gary Mauer
-signed poster from Phantom's 7,000th performance
-picture of me infront of the chandelier during a backstage tour
-signed ballet shoes
-"Fondest greetings to you all..." note used during the show

to the Imperial theater 4 tickets to "Destry Rides Again" $19.20
To the Shubert theater 4 tickets to "Take Me Along" $14.40
also to the Alvin theater, the National theater, the Helen Hayes theater and the Lunt-Fontaine theater, all under $15.00.
