We were talking about having a Broadway-related "show & tell" at one of my rehearsals and I thought it sounded like a great idea.
So, what is your favorite theatre-related pocession?

A Sweeney Todd poster that my dad got me... He stood at the stage door for over an hour and a half to make sure he got the entire cast to sign it... it was incredibly wonderful of him... especially since i didn't ask him to get the autographs... All I asked was that he get me a poster as he was there anyway...

Hmmm... I have two theatre-related items that I'm especially fond of, but neither are strictly Broadway. I got my programme for the West End production of 'Wicked' signed by Idina Menzel, Adam Garcia, Helen Dallimore, Katie Rowley Jones, James Gillan, and Martin Ball, so that's pretty awesome. Especially when I consider its resale value on eBay (which I'd never do, but I like to consider it).
But somewhat pipping it to the post of most favoured item is my vocal selections of 'The Last Five Years', which I got signed by Jason Robert Brown when I cornered him after a talkback session last September. It's better because I love 'The Last Five Years' more than 'Wicked', and he wrote "to Jan, all the best" in it, which packs a greater emotional punch than just a signature on its own. For twenty seconds, my favourite living composer of musical theatre knew my name. :3
Broadway-specific, I do have an 'Aida' Playbill signed by Adam Pascal and Mickey Dolenz, from my very first trip to New York and my very first experience of stage-dooring. That's quite nice too. :3

Posted: 1/26/07 at 7:07pmThe only broadway item I have of importance is my Aida CD booklet signed by Adam. Of course he only signed it a few months ago, but it's still a signed Aida Cd booklet so that's all that matters.

Mine would probably have to be my Gary Beach (<3) signed headshot & Playbill I got back from him after I finally decided to write him.
I finally got frames for them today so they're not living in a manilla envelope anymore.
=).

To Singtopher:
I want to cry for you, because if I had ever come across something that Nathan Lane actually touched & signed, And it was someting-Producers, and then it was ruined?
I'd probably die.
