Mothers and Sons starring Tyne Daly is going to the Golden in spring. She said so in her Richard Ridge interview on the red carpet of the opening of "A Gentleman's Guide".

Saw it in Bucks County. Daly is extraordinary in one of McNally's best plays. Absolutely loved the production. Happy to see this is having a further life. Can't wait to see it again and how much further Daly will take it. She was genuinely breathtaking. Beautiful, delicate play.
So, I'm guessing this leaves ALL THE WAY at the Longacre?

"All the Way" might be eyeing the Simon.
Whatever happened to the musical Tyne Daly & David Hyde Pierce were involved in about family?

there hasnt been a play in the simon in decades, no way does it end up their. I'm quiet surprised All The Way didnt get the Golden thats the perfect space for it.
I believe Dames at Sea is looking into the Longacre.
I wonder if Bobby Steggert will be following the show to Broadway now that BIG FISH is closing in December.
I saw it in Pennsylvania too, and it's really superb. A small, wonderful play, anchored by a perfectly judged performance from Daly. Her character changes so much over the course of a brief eighty minutes, but it all feels natural--not an easy feat.
McNally said that he wrote the roles played by Steggert and Manoel Felciano with those two actors in mind. I don't think Felciano is continuing with the show (to do SIDE SHOW), but I hope Steggert gets to reprise his role. He was excellent. (I suppose there's always the possibility they might seek someone more high-profile, as well, but I hope that's not the case.)
