Some of this is probably known, but the finalized cast for Moulin Rouge is up on their website.
Highlights?
-Amber Ardolino, who saw quite a bit of time early in the run of Head over Heals playing Mopsa, is a swing a Satine cover
-Karli Dinardo is a swing and the dance captain
-Ashley Loren is the Satine standby
-Aaron C. Finley has joined the ensemble and I’d put my money on him being the primary Christian understudy.

Ashley is the highlight for me, mostly because she's done the role before in Baz in Vegas
Different setting obviously, but still.

Posted: 6/19/19 at 7:14pmI know this is yet another personal opinion question, but for those who saw it before it transferred, do you think this show really is worth paying premium $200- $399 to see? I have one more opening when I come in a couple weeks and trying to decide whether or not to splurge on this or go see The Prom or The Cher Show. Thoughts? FYI I was fortunate enough to see Hamilton OBC on the front row but didn’t pay $399 for it...thanks for any advice or opinions!

For what it's worth, I got my Front Right Mezz ticket from Audience Rewards for 7500 points + $80ish. The same seats were going for $249 on Ticketmaster.
I'm interested in the show, but $200 as a base price is a lot!

I would splurge on a non-premium seat:)
I really enjoyed the show in Boston, while still admitting it needed a lot of work. I would see it for the spectacle and amazing Sonya Tayeh choreography alone. I, too, used audience rewards points to help get this ticket as a birthday present for myself. And because I won’t almost $300 for mezzanine seats. But that’s a personal choice.
I enjoyed the show much more then The Cher Show. Like, eons more. I though The Prom was cute, but even with major book problems, I liked Moulin Rouge more.

I'm getting tickets whenever Amber Ardolino goes on as Satine.

Do you think they have released all the tickets or is it really selling that well for the first week of previews? I have been watching for a few weeks and a few more tickets are available now, but all premium. Wondering if they will release more standard price tix (still 199$) or if they really are almost sold out.

After an incredible Tony-nominated turn in originating the role of Nini, Robyn Hurder is leaving the Rouge on February 20. Jessica Lee Goldyn will be starting as Nini on Broadway on February 22.

You called that sh*t nearly three years ago, bravo! I saw Aaron his FIRST night ever as Christian back in October and he killed it. He looks so similar to Aaron T and sounds just as good. The chemistry with Natalie was spot on even though it was their first time performing together in those roles. He's wonderful.

Does anyone have any idea how long Aaron Tveit will be in the role? With Danny’s recent departure and Robyn’s announcement, as well as a few other OBC members announcing they are leaving, I wonder if all of the contracts are now up for renewal (or not).

Tam Mutu mentioned on a recent instagram live that most of the originals’ contracts expired 4/24 suggesting that would be a big departure day. In addition to Robyn, two ensemble members (Khori & Karli) recently announced their last dates for mid-March. But nothing from Aaron thus far.

Thank you for this. I’d like to catch this one sometime in the distant future with a complete replacement / understudy principal cast. Sucks I missed Burstein (outside of a few bootlegs), but I’m all for seeing a different Christian / Satine pair. Tveit’s acting is spotty, and I hope I get to see Loren over Mendoza.
