Well, they just sold a lot of tickets. The energy of that cast, especially at 8am, is unreal. Kudos to all involved! Also, was supposed to go to an AOL Build with Olivo today, but it got cancelled because she is under the weather. She wasn't on GMA, and I guess she won't be in tonight's show.

Looking forward to seeing MR on GMA. I don't think Karen has performed since Thursday. She posted something about being under the weather on instagram last week but I thought she might make the GMA taping this morning.

Olivo was in on Friday and in fine voice, even coming out to stagedoor in the bitter cold with Aaron.
Tuesday’s are her normal day where her alternate goes on and also they had an added show this weekend because of the holiday.

Saw Olivo last week and, honestly, I can only assume that Loren is more likable and compatible with Tveit.

FWIW my niece and sister in law saw the show with Loren in at this past Sunday's matinee and said she was fabulous. (Their first time tho - they had never seen Olivo, but my niece is pretty discriminating) Looking forward to your thoughts. I plan to see it again and want to see it with Loren to see observe that chemistry. I am a fan of Olivo and Tveit and though I loved the show the two of them together were not my favorite thing.

Does Amber Ardolino no longer go on for Satine? I saw her and really enjoyed her performance.

Posted: 2/18/20 at 2:36pmI’ve seen all 3 and Amber was far and away my favorite. You just can’t take your eyes off her when she’s onstage, and she has a gorgeous voice. Imo, of all three, she has the “it” factor. Seeing how much fun she was having as the green fairy was worth seeing the show alone. Plus, she easily outdances Karen and Ashley. Sparkling Diamond was thrilling with Amber.

I know it's network TV but I would have loved to see them do the whole opening number...gotta win that lottery soon!

Amber is the understudy, ashley is the standby. Ashley always has priority to go on and cover Karen; only when Ashley is out, does Amber go on.

Miles2Go2, let me know how your view is! I'll be sitting center orchestra Row F in a few weeks and am praying for some eye contact with Aaron :)
Also it wasn't just the cast that was high energy but also the audience! They were incredibly loud and enthusiastic; Danny had to wait for them to quiet down! Are they always that rowdy or do you think it was because it was for TV?!

In terms of the rowdy crowd, I was there and we were told to be as upbeat and "on" as possible. If there was a beat in the song, they asked us to cheer and clap and yell. I can't speak to it on normal nights, though!

For an2736 or anyone else who knows: How early did you have to get to the Hirschfeld for the taping? Did they just fill the orchestra center? I doubt they filled the house, but you guys sounded loud enough for one. ... I've seen ''Moulin Rouge!'' more than once, but was this staging of ''Burning Down the House'' especially designed for ''GMA''? Or is it in the show & I'm losing my memory? Thanks!
