Hello! I saw The Music Man back on June 1st. No souvenir program--horrors! I've been checking the Creative Goods site weekly, and have e-mailed them twice, with discouraging results. The forthcoming OBC album is a step in the right direction. Does anyone know if there will be a souvenir program? Everyone here seems so knowledgeable, connected to all the grapevines. I appreciate any help I can get, and say thanks in advance for the help.
No inside info, just what the lady at the merch counter told me last night (Wednesday, July 27). She said nope they didn't do one...but somehow they got piles of straw hats to sell?
Isn't this the same producers as Hello Dollyva few years back? Did they do a program for that show? I seem to remember they didn't?

There was a program for Dolly. It was one of the nicest I think I’ve collected over the years. More than 40 pages with a lot of history and beautiful pictures.
I’m pretty sure there was a smaller version for the national tour.
There was a program for Dolly and it’s gorgeous. They’ve only just recorded a cast album for Music Man so hopefully like the album the program is just delayed but still forthcoming.
I had some friends who worked the merchandise booths at Hello, Dolly and they said those programs were a nightmare for them. The covers would get ripped very easily due to the heart cutout, both during shipping and even just moving them from their storage space in the theatre to the booths, which meant they then had to mark them out as damaged and discarded (so it was also not difficult to get a slightly ripped one for free if you had a friend who worked there).
Hi! Thanks for your message. The same creative team that worked on Dolly! also mounted The Music Man.
I know about the paper shortage, etc.etc. but I still want a Music Man program! So do others who left very disappointed. I live in Philadelphia, so whatever I get, I'll have to order, and I'd buy multiple copies as gifts for friends who also saw the show and feel aggrieved about this.
