All I know is that on the roof of Radio City Music Hall, Jenifer Holiday will be performing songs from Pirate Queen and Oh, Carrie.

Are you serious Trekkie2?

Since it's Jenifer I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

A little known fact is that in the original screenplay, Pan's Labyrinth was Pan's FLAByrinth. Hmmmmmmm...glad they changed it.

Mary Poppins - Medley, or Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious - (since it's the main one they've been doing)

Grey Gardens - something featuring Christine Ebersole

Spring Awakening - Depends on how P.C they want to go. I'm guessing one of the upbeat numbers. Totally F***** would be best I think, but they'll probably go with "Bitch" or "Junk"

Curtains - haven't seen it

There is already a long thread on this.

Spring is definatly not doing F'd. The Tonys censored DRS when Norbert Leo Butz said "hummers in my hummer" and "really classy ****" I think SA will end up doing Touch Me. and of course theres always the option of a medley.

You're probably right - but personally I think it would be a bad call for them to do a ballad - like when Caroline or Change did "Lot's Wife" - bad choice. It needs to be something with a real B'way "wow" factor, not necessairily the prettiest, or most dramatic song.

I want "Grey Gardens" to do "Another Winter..." with Christine and Mary Louise, but I have a feeling they'll end up doing "The Revolutionary Costume For Today."

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

I have a feeling Grey Gardens will do something from Act I that features more people from the show since it got 10 nominations. I think Girl Who Has Everything into Five-Fifteen.

Curtains will probably do "Show People"
MP-Supercalif or Step in Time
SA-I think they'll do "Touch Me" minus the touching or "Song of Purple Summer" or "My Junk" (Tend to think "My Junk")
GG-WIll do something from Act 2 (wish they'd do "Around the World"-but after the last time on CBS, they won't want that.)
Tend to think "Revolutionary Costume" or "Another Winter" (they may do a medley of "Entering Grey Gardens" into something else)

What about "The House We Live In" for GG if they want something featuring more of the cast?

Dramarama, I was kidding, but if it actually happens, I came up with it first. You're all witnesses.

Is there a reason that nobody is speculating about revival performances?

Fine, Trekkie, I'll speculate revival performances JUST for you.

No question that Chorus Line will probably do "One" or "I Hope I Get It" Not sure about the other shows, I don't know them that well.

I'd love for 110 to do "Raunchy". Audra is simply amazing in that one. My guess is they'll do a more company-centered number like "The Rain Song" though.

Curtains - "Show People"
Mary Poppins - as someone else on this board put it, "SupercalifragiCRAP"!
Grey Gardens - "The Cake I Had" (haha, yeah right, but I really like MLW's performance)
Spring Awakening - "Touch Me" (They did it on the View I think and it was totally appropriate)

110 in the Shade - I don't know this show well, but I would bet "Raunchy", because Audra is BOMB and Cullum participates
Company - COME ON "BEING ALIVE" !!
A Chorus Line - "I Hope I Get It"
The Apple Tree (by total act of God) - "Gorgeous"

What happened during "Around the World" on CBS?

"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

LuPonatic ~ That's my one reason to hope they'll do "Raunchy". With Audra and John both nominated, it kind of makes sense to do that one. Because she's barely in "The Rain Song" and definitely doesn't sing.

What will LB do?

I'm thinking that they'd do "Omigod you guys!"

But theres no number with LBB, Orfeh and Borle in it together.

I thought they could also do "Bend and Snap" because LBB and Orfeh are in it, it has some alright choreography, it's one of the more catchy songs in the score. I also thought they could do the bit of dialogue before it with the UPS guy to show off Hach's score.

I'd also like to see "So Much Better" or "Legally Blonde Remix"

Well-it wasn't so much during as after. She got criticized for singing "damn" and "goddamn" on TV.

I don't think CBS will be broadcasting that again soon with those problems.

COMPANY will likely do a medley, or perhaps just the title song... which is a mistake. If they want to sell tickets, Raul needs to sing "Being Alive".

If THE APPLE TREE performs, its a given that Kristin will be performing "Gorgeous".

If GG just wanted to showcase the two nominees, they'd be wisest to do the opening of the show. Its humorous, features both, and is nice. It'd be difficult for them to do a medley of sorts, due to the costume change Ebersole would need... the songs would have to be limited to one act.

Company IS doing "Being Alive". Raul is singing it, but with the orchestra - not his castmates.

* Raul Esparza, the star of "Company," will sing "Being Alive" on the Tony telecast. But he'll be performing without the rest of the cast members, who, in the revival, play all the musical instruments. Apparently, the producers of "Company" don't want to have to pay the other actors to appear on the Tonys. So they've asked Jonathan Tunick if they can use his original 1970 orchestrations for "Being Alive," which will be performed by the orchestra at Radio City Music Hall.
