I’d be very grateful for advice on this one. I will be in NY next week and have one slot free, the Thursday matinee. I live in London and have seen most things (including Gatsby, both there and here). I am torn between Boop and The Outsiders. I’ll see anything that comes over to the UK, but can only get to NY once or twice per year (circumstances, being what they are, willing). Does anyone have thoughts, both in terms of which one is more likely to transfer to the WE and which is better? (I kind of care about the first question more than the second). Thank you!

Outsiders is much more likely to show up in London. Boop may not be long for NYC, unless it does well at the Tonys. So I'm not sure if it will get a tour. It's been highly discounted since beginning previews. Most people I know who saw it enjoyed it however.

I would be surprised if Outsiders didn’t have a West End production in the near future. Boop may be a sort of flash in the pan - I’d suggest catching it while it’s around as there are some truly remarkable things coming out of a mediocre show.

I'm also looking at attending the Thursday 2pm matinee of Boop. I'm seeing Oh, Mary! at 5pm that same day - about what time could I expect to be on the street after Boop ends? Would it be too tight?
I was going to see the 1pm matinee of Outsiders that day, which would leave me much more breathing room between shows, but I'd honestly rather see Boop if it could work. I just definitely don't want to risk being late to Oh, Mary!
Boop will no longer have Thursday matinees starting in May.

There is still one happening on May 1st, which is the one I'm considering attending. There are no more Thursday matinees after that.
You will certainly have time between the matinee of Boop! @2 and Oh, Mary! @ 5. Boop should end at 4:35 or so and it’s just a quick hope over to the Lyceum across Broadway.
My advice: eat before the matinee, buy an extra bottle of water at the Broadhurst (for the next show), and use the bathroom at the end of Boop! Then it’s just a quick scan and onto your seat.
