YAAAASSSSSS!!!
*cries with happiness*
Good thing Friday is Pay Day!! So excited for this!!
Will Edmund Lyndeck be back?
I doubt it. My dream would be to see Barbara Byrne there, as well.
I'd love to see Barbara Byrne there as well- I know she's done a few plays recently at the Guthrie, maybe she'd be up for this as well?
Will Philip Hoffman be back?
I hope so! He and I had a really nice conversation about the show last year. His memories and stories about the show were amazing!
i saw this when they came to Orange Co. last year before the movie version opened and it was such a great night for the audience and for SONDHEIM and company as well...i have almost never seen such an audience reaction to the songs the stories and the laughs...cheers and tears for many of us in the audience that night...you all have something special coming...
I can't wait!
The BAM website says that tickets go on sale Friday, but it doesn't say what time. Anyone know generally what time they normally release them?
I'm wondering the same thing, Polka Dot2. I imagine this will sell quickly.
Also, does anyone know about the pricing breakdown? I see seats start at $35, but the venue appears to be on the larger side.
Cupid Boy2, here's the price breakdown:
Orchestra: $100 or $65
Mezz: $100 or $65
Balcony: $65 or $35
(ETA: Why is this post showing up in bold?)

Chip Zien told me about this a couple weeks ago at the stage-door for It Shoulda Been You, after I told him I'm a big fan of Into the Woods. I'm so upset that I won't be able to make it. I would gladly shell out money for at least a balcony ticket for this, but I won't be in town. I'm looking forward to hearing people's reports on how this is.
Oh yay! Chip Zien, Joanna Gleason, Danielle Ferland, Ben Wright! I look forward to reading posts afterwards from those of you who go and feel like reporting back.
Some wonderful audio from the reunion concert last year in L.A.
Tix are supposed to go on sale today....but aren't as of yet. Anyone know their timing? When their box office opens at 10??

It was definitely 10am for the 2pm show, and shortly thereafter for the 7pm. Managed to snag a 2nd row orchestra seat!
Got my tickets to both performances!!!!!!!!!!!!
7 PM! Can't wait. I might just follow Jordan's lead and go both times. Ah....decisions.
NOW....who can tell me what else to do around the BAM. (I know nothing about Brooklyn!)
It's next to Target. So I'll probably just go to Target for 3 hours between performances.
Fifth Ave, right south of Barclays, isn't too far of a walk away. Great bars and restaurants and shopping.
I've never been in the Gilman, so I hope that I didn't screw myself with a "partial view" orchestra seat. How could a concert/discussion be partial view?
Figured it'd be better to be closer than not for this.
Never been to BAM before. Would row B or C of the mezz be better than Row P or Q of the orchestra?
BAM has changed all the ticket prices since this morning. The prices are now:
Orchestra $110-$175
Mezzanine: $80-175
Balcony: $35-80
Somebody at BAM must've realized that people would be willing to shell out big bucks for this. Very strange.
