I don't think the arrangements are doing anyone any justice. That being said - so far, Vonzell was the only one I consider to have nailed her song

i was just gonna say the turned over in their grave, u beat me to it lol. Yea the arrangments are terrible, lets pray it will get better.

Vocally I agree Vonzell has done the best so far. She nailed People and made me actually like another person singing it other than Barbra.

Mr. Roxy, I totally agree with you, although not her best performance, Carrie definitly ranks high tonight....I agree, they were way too hard on her...

Wow is all I have to say. I hope they never try this again. And I am getting really sick of these "arrangements", I want to turn it off, but now its a matter of morbid curiousity, kinda like why people stop and stare at car accidents.

um I think the guy singing from WSS is channeling Taye Diggs with the outfit, but he's the first one that can admit to actually haven seen the musical he's performing a song from..

Yep West Side Story was just butcher.......Take a big knife and cut open the classics.... I think the NY Times should do an article saying why Broadway and American Idol should never be mixed...

They should do this again but do it with modern shows and do the actual songs, dont do the stupid f***ing arrangments to make it all hip. IT butchers them before they start. I also dont think this was the group to do it on. I think next year might work cuz it wont be with these people.

Scott was beyond awful, Constantine was pretty good, Carrie nailed hers.. even though I dont love the song, Vonzell did pretty good.. a few pitch problems, Anthony killed the song completely.. the worst so far, and Nikko just did astounding IMO.

Paula is all about babying these people...Come of it People if they suck, they SUCK!!! and I dont know about you people but so far I think most of them have SUCKED.....
