It had originally sounded like "bumpster kid," but that didn't make any sense so I went for dumpster (which also makes little sense). Foster makes a lot more sense.
This trailer is so much better than the earlier one. The little girl seems to bring the movie to life. She seems to believe in it more than the others. But, of course, I've only seen the trailer.
I, like most people I know, was horrified when I heard about this new version, particularly the casting of Cameron Diaz. But I have to say, I enjoyed this trailer very much. I completely get the new take on the material, and actually laughed out loud a number of times. And Diaz seems to make perfect sense given the concept. I can understand how purists must feel, but "Annie" was never the greatest show to begin with. I'm actually impressed how they've breathed new life into the old girl.
