Has anyone had a chance to hear this incredible song yet? I just downloaded it off of Itunes and its an amazing song and Beyonce sings it very well.

Great Song, It seems like they wanted to give Beyonce a big number. I wonder if it will be feaured in the movie or over the end credits, having seen Dreamgirls in it's original run, Deena was really not that great a singer like Effie was, but had talent , looks and that "it" factor. I think if you see her sing that big number you would not feel as much for for Effie. Strange how you can only get it on Itunes, if you buy it in the store its not on the album. I think this picture is going to be big!

Or, you can buy it on iTunes.
Love the song. Its really amazing
I guess I will just buy it...how much is it..I am not at my home comp and I wanted to hear it before I buy it..
It is a great number. Thanks for the post.
I just heard it, and I think it is an AMAZING song. While I was listening to it, I imagined it being after Curtis telling Deena that she can not do movies. If so, it will fit perfectly.

If you buy the cd at WALMART it is after track 10... It is a "secret track" and she talks about it being such an amazing movie. Also there is some other stuff she does. I have to say i was really impressed. And I think that with the song (if put in right) will show that Curtis was the "puppet master" to ruining these girls lives in the scheme of things.
My best friend is the new "voice of Wal-Mart". At the end of the new commercial he says "Wal-Mart. Time fo change". Except that he HATES WalMart.

This silly movie is not opening for 3 months yet and I am already bored to tears by the 9,000,000 posts about it.
Beyonce will prob be OK but do not expect her to flaunt acting chops worthy of an Oscar. Eddie Murphy is too old and can't sing. How ironic for a British gay man to direct a film about the Supremes.
Look what happened to A CHORUS LINE, the movie. . .
thanks for the 2cents debbie downer.
Three cents.
It just means I have a life. :)
Make that 9,000,001 posts since fflagg, who is sick of the posts and has a life, had to stop and post about it as well.

Nor is it irony.
And yes...the song is performed in the actual film not over the credits.
Deena performs it in a recording studio shortly after a big blowup with Curtis, which comes after the Deena Jones & The Dreams "One Night Only" sequence/performance.
Beyonce's music video version pops-up November 13th on all the music video channels and most likely she will perform it on The Today Show on December 5th, the day the film sountrack 'drops'/comes out in stores. She's scheduled to perform that day on The Today Show, but no info on what she'll be performing from the film has been released.
Am I the only one who couldn't find the Movie's Soundtrack on iTunes? =(

The full soundtrack shouldn't be available on the net yet.
By simply re-reading my post above, I clearly state that the film soundtrack is being released on December 5th.
Since Beyonce' included the track for "Listen" on her recently released B.DAY album, that song CAN be found on iTunes, as can the 'disco' version of "One Night Only" from the film. Those are the only 2 tracks currently available from the upcoming film soundtrack. The rest of the songs/score of DREAMGIRLS will be available when the soundtrack is released, which again...is on December 5th.
