New WICKED photos... unreal!

Okay, you'll think I'm crazy for noticing this, but I have a keen eye for this type of stuff.

As many of you probably know, the Broadway site for Wicked has been updated with new pictures. Look above and check out the one of Idina Menzel during "Defying Gravity." Now, look at the one of Shoshana Bean. Notice anything odd? It is the same picture as above, except Shoshana Bean has been digitally superimposed into it. Weird, isn't it?

If this has already been posted, I apologize. I couldn't find anything when I searched for it.

I'm prtty sure Shoshana Bean's entire performance is superimposed.

Idina looks sexy and scary. Soshana looks flat.

weird...yup, the bottom part is definitely EXACTLY the same in both pics, or else those are some VERY consistent chorus members.

I noticed that too. Not to mention, all of the munckins are in the exact same spot. I bet if you printed them out the same size, and held them to the window everything would be exactly the same (exept for Shoshona's upper body).

Oh, that's too bad. I think Shoshana Bean is wonderful.

And I'm sorry that the second picture isn't working; I can see it and I didn't do anything different from how I posted the first one. If you want to see it, just go to the Broadway Wicked site and check out the Gallery.

Wow. And it's not even good Photoshopping - she's darker than the rest of the picture, her top half doesn't match her bottom half, and you can see where they tried to smudge/fade it.

wickedobsessed, that's what I'm saying. Of course all of the ensemble members are in the same spot; it is the same picture, but they just "cut and pasted" Shoshana's upper body into it.

Yeah, the other day when the new pics were posted on the official site, someone pointed that out. And like someone said, with the boat load of cash their rakin' in every week you'd think they'd get Joan Marcus to just take a new picture.

wouldn't it be easier to just take a pic of shoshana, and not have to take all the trouble of photoshopping it? ahh things like that just make me mad.
