That reminds me of what happened in the final Les Miz B'way brochure. In the photo of Christopher Mark Peterson on the barricade (towards the back of the brochure), they've very badly photoshopped out Peter Lockyer (who had left by then), BUT YOU CAN SEE HIS THUMB if you compare the old one with the new one.

The disembodied Marius thumb. Ah yes.

Mhmm someone noted that the first day it was released, here are all the pictures together, plus the chicago one, I wasnt sure if they did the same thing but the ensemble is in the exact same place also.

I think I'm more disturbed by the fact that people actually have enough time to notice these things. I mean, it is rather obvious, and I too would have noticed it had I had enough time to stare endlessly at wicked pictures, but where do you people find time to do this? is it procrastination? is there a pile of unfinished book reports on a green desk somewhere???

I just think it's funny that they even bothered to change it. I mean, in each picture, her face is like 5 pixels wide, and certainly not identifiable - who would know the difference?

Heck...I'd notice that that picture of Idina Menzel is NOT Shoshana Bean at a quick glance. That's probably why they bothered to change it.

I noticed this after one quick glance. I noticed that Shoshana's upper body looked a little too large for the rest of her and I could tell that it was a fake. Like I said, I have an eye for this stuff. After doing graphic design and using Photoshop for years, you pick up on this type of thing.

how can you tell that they are the same exact picture? wouldn't everything be the same except for the last pose of elphaba anyways cause its done the same?

You can tell that they are the same pictures because everything is exactly the same. If you look at the details, such as shadows and wrinkles or creases on costumes, the smoke at the ground, even down to the angle at which an ensemble member's arm is held, for instance, you'll notice that they are identical, except for Elphaba.

well i mean they could just be a really good chorus and have their lines the same for each performance, and maybe thats just how the costume ruffles everytime. you never know.

This isn't related to the pictures, but it's about Wicked and I would hate to start a new thread for one silly question.

During "Defying Gravity" when Glinda grabs a blanket (or something) and says "Elphie, you're trembling. Here, put this around you," why does the audience laugh? Before I saw the show, I heard a recording of the song and the audience laughed, and when I finally saw the show for myself, they laughed, but I didn't find anything funny. I thought I had missed something. Was it because Glinda is the one that gave the Wicked Witch her cape or something? I'm confused.
