Shoshana looks like a more "happy" Elphaba. Does that make any sense to anyone. For those of you who don't think she looks good in green.....her singing deffinatley makes up for it. That girl can sing!! She really does have an amazing voice. Updated On: 1/26/05 at 05:06 PM

Our new Fieyro is looking verrry hot. Does he have the same low register voice like Norbert? If so I might have to marry him.

Shoshana doesn't look right to me. But I bet she sounds fabulous, which in the end is the important part.

Have you noticed that people always look different as a replacement. They just look odd. Probably because the costume was made for the person who originated the role. When I was looking at the tour pictures from Hairspray I thought they didn't look that great because I was comparing too much. We are just comparing the new cast pictures to the other pictures. Sooner or later we'll have no choice but to get used to them lol.

She isn't wearing the right beanie in that picture--contributes to the weirdness, it covers up her whole head. Am I wrong here? Thats not the normal hat for the Shiz outfit.

Everything looks different now... because I'm so used to Idina being there. And now even Fiyero looks strange. Nessa looks teh same... is she? And if she is, anyone know when she is leaving?

ok is david ayers wearing a wig in the show? can someone answer? and yes I LOVE DAVID AYERS HE IS SO CUTE (to bad he is str and shoshana looks great i am so happy what she did with the role she really made it her own

When i saw JLT, she got one. She's done a great job with the character of G(a)linda.
Shoshana looks great in the pictures during "No Good Deed". What a voice this girl has! Can't wait to see her!

They are alright. Not as good as the previous pics. Shoshana does look a little different as Elphaba. Idina looked more witchy, she just had that look.

I don't see the fuss about Davis Ayers. I don't think he has much on Norbert & Joey.. looks wise.

Thanks PJ for the alert! Some of the pix are the same as before, but I've added all the new ones to my collection. It's nice to see the new cast. As the souvenir program has pictures of the original cast, I now have images of all three casts (I saw the 2nd one in September). It's wonderful that a show can keep evolving like that. Now that we Angelinos know that Wicked will be at the Pantages in June/July, we can look forward to seeing even more pictures of the touring cast!

Shoshanna does look a bit odd in the green makeup...

I like David Ayers as Fiyero better. He's cute! But that's just going on looks.

Thanks for the picture link! Love it all and the new Fiyero is hot. :-P Only one I'm a little puzzled over is Boq and his turban/hat thing. Plus, this is just me but I thought Boq was supposed to be alot younger....the other actors who have played him so far all had a very boyish, young look to them.

Just to add my two cents…

I’m going to have to agree with Dick and Beka on this one… Shoshana doesn’t look as stunning in green as Idina did. However, I think that we’re all just used to seeing Idina in the show, and it’ll take some time to get used to the change. I really want to see Shosh because I’m interested to hear her voice and see her take on the role. About the green makeup again, I think that on Idina it just looked a little more natural… more of her skin color seemed to show and blend with the green makeup. I am extremely biased, but I do think Shosh does look a little awkward in some of the pictures (with the green, I mean…)

My sister thought Shoshana was Margaret Hamilton in some of those pictures! She is crazy... She is also just a little biased.

i'm thinking that perhaps if they make shoshana's make-up more translucent it will help, in comparison to idina's it seems more opaque, either that or with the highlights/shadows that they added to kristy kates' make-up for the broadway festival
