My Playbill for the Crucible looks like this as well.

Love the new style.
Glad to see the design is not just for Rudin productions.
Posted: 6/30/16 at 5:33pm
That could be because it's a Rudin show.

Crucible, The Humans among some other shows have those playbills but the cover art is like the old time playbills, so I'm not talking about those. I mean new playbills like Hamilton, Phantom that have their own artwork but on a new Playbill template

Blackbird, Skylight, A View From the Bridge, and Shuffle Along all had that type as well recently.

Those are all Rudin productions. Hamilton and Phantom are not.

This An Act of God Playbill looks like that: https://instagram.com/p/BHQYHMngtMh/
But this one does not: https://instagram.com/p/BHGM3tAjPXK/

The pride one was posted 4 days ago while the i guess new design was posted last night, as June comes to a close

That's really fascinating - especially since that playbill design has only been seen in Scott Rudin productions so far.

It's weird that act of God used the new playbills yesterday, while today they're using the pride playbills again.

The cost for that bleed cover has got to be exorbitant compared to the non-bleed design.
I'd wager shows that aren't doing well won't adopt it. (Wonder if I'll lose this wager...)

Shows only pay for Playbill if they are using color covers....so it's up to Playbill.

WHOA this is exciting. I've loved the new design ever since it first appeared (I forget what show that was) and was hoping for widespread adoptation.
I wonder for shows that close in July like SHE LOVES ME or FULLY COMITTED if the new crop of playbills after the pride crop will be the old design or this new one?? I am wondering because I am seeing these two this weekend.

I would go back to see Beautiful to get that Playbill.

What is going on? Is this a permanent redesign or temporary!? I really like the full bleed header & the retro design. I'm surprised Playbill.com hasn't written an article about the design changes (or throwbacks) and what inspired them. Odd considering they have breaking news about seemingly everything else.

Is the size changed bc I'm trying to scalp Hamilton tix on Wednesday and I already have a ton of playbill frames for my playbills for shows I play to see

I love the new design. Hope the overall size of the Playbill is the same since I have all mine in the Playbill Deluxe Binders.

I absolutely love this new design... hope it's adopted across the board. It looks much classier.
