I'm going to NYC in June for my 16th birthday, and I'm planning on seeing Newsies! My family is looking at Center Orchestra seating for either Row F or Row H. But, I've heard from many different places that the overhanging mezzanine obstructs the view of the top tier of the set past Row G. I'm really confused on where to sit and I don't want to waste money on a seat where a portion of the musical is not visible, and I also don't want to sit so close that I am straining my neck to see everything. If anyone has any pictures/personal experiences/suggestions/information that would be awesome! Thank you so much!

The first (and only) time I ever saw Newsies, I sat in the very last row of the orchestra. I don't remember anything significant ever being obstructed.

Get center Mezz. Have seen it 3 times from there, Great seats
Center orchestra row F or H should be fine. Farther back, the mezzanine overhang would block your view of the upper part of the stage structure. Sitting in the mezzanine is also a great spot for Newsies. Enjoy the show!
The show is just fine from the orchestra. The only part of the set that is out of view is for the last 60 seconds of "Once and For All." Other than that, the view is fine! Either row will be good.
I've sat in the side orchestra multiple times. 1st preview I was in row L or M, and I could just see the entire set without obstructions. I've also sat in rows C, D, F, and G on the side and all are excellent views. I'd think either row is fabulous in the center orchestra. I just happen to prefer side orchestra aisle because I'm so short that I like having no one obstruct my view by sitting directly in front of me (from the side, you kind of view the stage at an angle and the person in front of you doesn't block center action).

I'm leaning towards row F, I believe. Do you know of exactly where the overhanging mezzanine starts? Just curiousm, because I've been hearing Row G but I've seen pictures from rows farther back and it seems as if it's not until Row L. Thank you again :)
Just do not sit in the back. The top gets cut off from your view

Do you happen to know at what point towards the back the mezz starts to cut off the top of the stage? What row I mean? Thank you, again :)
I actually meant the orchestra/ground seats. I do not know when it cuts off. You should be fine in the middle though

I was talking about the orchestra seats too! Sorry, that was unclear. I meant when the overhanging mezz starts to cut off the orchestra seat's view.
I believe I sat in row L of the orchestra and it was fine. However, do NOT sit in the dead center of that row because there is projection equipment bolted to the front of the mezzanine that will block your view of the top tier of the stage. So aim for a little bit off center.

Ticketmaster says the mezzanine hangs over row L so as others have said, you should be fine. I'd recommend the mezzanine for this show though. I personally have only seen it via the lottery and had partial view seats but I think the best view to take everything in would definitely be the front mezzo
You can see the second and third levels of Newsies so much better from the mezzanine. I think it's the best place to watch this show and to stare at Corey Cott for a couple hours.

I think my sister & I are going with Row F seats 105 & 106. I'm still just a little skeptical that they will be so close my neck will hurt, but my sister says she would prefer to be closer than farther away. But thank you all for your help :)

We sat in one of the first few rows for Newsies, and I didn't feel like I was straining my neck to see the show. You should be fine. The choreography and dancing in the show are fantastic. Enjoy it!
