Didn't you already decide "Nice Work"? (I remember seeing your post asking about Blythe Danner's opening night.) I don't think you can go wrong with either show. "Newsies" has phenomenal choreography that television appearances hasn't done justice and "Nice Work" is a lot of fun with screwball comedy.

If you haven't seen it, see "The Mystery of Edwin Drood." I'd go with it or "Nice Work."

Haven't seen Newsies. Nice Work is fun. It has the look and feel of an old time Hollywood musical.

Go see NICE WORK it's got two bonafide Broadway stars in it and having seen it again last month I can tell you that Broderick's perform has greatly improved since the show opened (he gives a much more comfortable performance and he no longer seems to be counting in his head during the dance numbers) and it is worth the price of the ticket to see Judy Kaye and Michael McGrath.

I think you should see a shrink - you have more personalities than Sybil, and not one of them are as entertaining.

This is way beyond old - give it up, already.

Well, neither knocked my socks off, but Newsies was at least less boring. The choreography is fantastic -- even though its like watching a dance off and not a b'way show.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Nice Work.

i feel like the dancing is more aerobic in Newsies but more story telling in Nice Work. Both are choreographed wonderfully. I think the choreo is the best part of Newsies and felt like the storyline (or lack thereof) dragged, while there wasn't a point in Nice Work i wasn't laughing my head off. Both are awesome, if you have the chance to see both, do it.
