If the current specultation is true, I believe that Jenny and Kara will still be leads at that point, so unless they are out for any unforeseen reason, it will likely be them yes! :)

If spongebob gets postponed further I'd love to see Lilli Cooper return as the lead.

Any word on who's coming in when Jenny and Kara are done in July?
Posted: 5/31/17 at 9:55pm
July 29th apparently

Not one of the leads, but Sheryl Lee Ralph recently departed the cast and has been replaced by Jody Gelb until June 6, when Ralph returns.

Perhaps it's just me but I could see Willemijn Verkaik coming back. Her West End run ends fairly soon. Just from bootlegs and the German cast recording I thought she was amazing. Killer vocals and fierce acting

Sheryl Lee Ralph is back as Morrible: https://twitter.com/thefellowozians/status/872237314986135552

I thought Alyssa Fox *slayed* The Wizard and I at Stars in the Alley last week. She blew everyone else out of the water.

I just read through the section of this thread from a couple years ago talking about how "mediocre" Ben Platt is. Lol yeah um sure

"I saw Lilli Cooper when she was the standby in 2015. She's definitely my favorite of the four Elphaba's I've seen. If her or Willemijin came back I just might have to return to the Gershwin...
But I guess now that Spongebob is coming...Lilli is out of the question

He posted this almost two months before Spongebob was even announced... no need to argue.

Jackie Burns is next Elphaba.
Amanda Jane Cooper is next Glinda.
Alyssa Fox is Elsa Standby in Frozen.

I absolutely detest Cooper as Glinda so I truly hope that is not true. Would love to see Jackie back though!

I'd been suspecting that Alyssa was going into Frozen, given the timing of her exit. How awesome.

I can confirm that Jackie Burns and AJC are returning to Broadway as Elphaba and Glinda after Lindsay and DiNoia leave. Also, Alyssa Fox will be a standby in Frozen. And as you all probably know, Mariand Torres is Wicked's new Elphaba standby.

Not excited about Jackie and Amanda, but I will be there for Mariand's planned performance.
Posted: 6/9/17 at 12:41pm
Jackie is immensely talented but I was hoping for a new Elphaba. Oh well.
Posted: 6/9/17 at 12:48pm
I wonder if Jackie will be doing a full contract or just a short stint. I could see her just being a filler until Jessica is ready to come in from the tour.

So Dee Roscioli holds the record in North America for playing Elphaba in the most performances. I have to think with Jackie's return she's got to be close to beating that record.
