Wasn't she working on the pippin movie at one point?

Hopefully a revival that doesn't open with a kabuki drop.
Hopefully a revival and not a new musical, her track record on those isn't so great.
While I hated Finding Neverland, it's not like it was an embarrassing flop. And Waitress is still going strong.

Please, for the love of God, let it be another revival.
^ AMEN. Her work on new musicals has been pretty bad.

Yes, I just don't see how the same person directed the brilliant Hair and Pippin and the generic Finding Neverland and Waitress.
She doesn't seem to be adept at guiding new musicals to their full potential. While I enjoy much of Waitress, a more experienced hand would have easily fixed many of its flaws. She's best when working on established works. Except Porgy and Bess. Sorry, "The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess".

I do agree that Waitress could have been tweeked more and some flaws could have been addressed. But I am still impressed by the visual concept of the show, how the musicians work on stage in and of out the action and how clever some of the staging is....and I think Diane had a lot to do with that.
Well, it was announced today that she's going to do another new musical...
