For the love of God, I cannot watch another thread on this site descend into pandering to Pinto and his private Twitter and all that. For my personal sake, can we collectively try to focus on the task at hand and discuss rumors and speculation for the Belasco Theatre on here? My sanity thanks you in advance.

anyway, there have been rumors about The Chalk Garden coming to Broadway this season, but I'm not sure if that project died or not. Anyone have any information?

Given the success of Twlevth Night and Hedwig, I think the Belasco should stick with shows where men dress up as gals.

After 3 weeks here, you're already on the verge of losing your sanity? That's so sad. Maybe BWW is not for you.

Call Philly what you want, but based on his profile picture on Twitter, his teeth are close to perfect. Doesn't make him any less of an insignificant troll, but at least he's a cute insignificant troll.

I ran into one of the crew members of Hedwig today and they said that there is definitely a show moving into the Belasco in October and its transferring from somewhere, but that's all they knew. I wonder if its coming from downtown or London? Any ideas?

I would love for it to be Iceman Cometh, but I think Nathan Lane is filming a tv series soon.

Just saw this. I've been perusing BWW for a few years now. Felt compelled to get an account of my own last month. Relax, Bob.

How would the Shuberts be losing any money?

When a theater doesn't have a show to bring in ticket sales, its owners incur losses for a number of reasons, perhaps most obviously the fact that they don't have immediate revenue for house essentials like lighting, heat, A.C., etc.
