Would love to see Connor do Hamlet in the future if he's already this good at 20.

I've only seen her in 2 things: R+J and WSS. I loved her in WSS, but thought she out of her league in this.

Based on that, she isn't a "name" that would either KEEP me from seeing a show nor have me rush TO see it.
"

Perhaps.

But sometimes people bring things on themselves unnecessarily. Regardless of their age.  And IMO that's what she did.

Disney cast her as Snow White.  Great.  Good on her.

Next thing we know she's calling it old-fashioned, calling out the prince as a stalker and a creep.  Or some similar nonsense.  Trying to impose some feminist critique to the movie she's calling outdated.   All this over a movie based on a well-establihed animated feature.

I saw another video posted where she's at a Disney park pointing at a Snow White ride and yelling, that's me, I'm going to be Snow White.

To the latter, that's fine.  Whatever.

But to make some silly social commentary on an animated feature.  If it's that offensive to you, turn the role down and go create your own animated features where the "princesses" all kick ass.  And don't need a man.

Trying to make something deep or thought-provoking out of nothing is inevitably going to get you called out by some.

I didn't see WSS because the original is enough for me.  I didn't need a remake on a classic.

I had to look her up to see what all the discussions were about.

Or maybe - maaayyyybeee - that's what the movie she chose to star in is doing, and that's why she chose to star in it? The movie is nearly a century old and based on a story from the 1800s - of course it's going to be "old-fashioned". If someone is going to remake it, it's absolutely going to have updates. Kenneth Branagh did that with the Cinderella remake, and that movie was wonderful.

I didn't see WSS because the original is enough for me. I didn't need a remake on a classic.

Okay, so it sounds like you're just opposed to remakes on principle.

See the new WSS. It's masterful.

The Rachel Zegler hate is so forced and tired at this point. The world is hard on ambitious girls.

I feel that Kit has aged himself out of Season 4 as he has matured years beyond Joe.

Joe can sing so he would be a very interesting[young] visit into the Cabaret world and Kit would drag his fans into How to Succeed because if Daniel could be taught to 'sing and dance' so could Kit. Maybe too soon but there's money to be made here.Maybe in London.

Back to Cabaret. One of the girls in Heartstopper played Sally in London so her and Joe could be great publicity.

You REALLY should see the remake.  I think it is one of the absolute greatest movie musicals ever, and I enjoyed it so much more than the original.  I am not saying that it is better (I do think it is), but that it is a great re-interpretation of the work, and is not just a redo.  The Rita Moreno role / performance alone enriches it so much and the Officer Krupke number is just so clever.  One Hand / One Heart is perfect.  All were very different from the original.

David Alvarez was IMO far superior to Chakiris, and Faust was at least as good as Russ Tamblyn.
I thought that Zegler was terrific and I really do t understand the hate…maybe the haters feel she had it too easy.  She is a young woman who has talent and great potential to grow.
