I went to see R+J again and even though I'm not exactly in love with every choice the production team has made, I am SO impressed by both Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler. I wonder what's next up for these young and incredibly talented kids beside the already publicised stuff?
I'd love to see them both in a musical. Zegler is perhaps an obvious choice for that and I think she could play a lot of different roles (Carnival, anyone?!) but a quick YouTube search shows that with some guidance, Kit Connor could easily be in a musical, too.
Sadly she comes across wrong in every thing she says, maybe it’s time to disappear for a bit
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

I pretty much despised this production but did come away thinking Kit Connor made one of the most impressive Broadway debut’s I’ve seen in quite a long time. I can’t wait to see what he chooses to do next.

I might be missing something but I really don't understand the hate she gets online."
She and Ariana DeBose both seem to be getting the Anne Hathaway treatment - unapologetic Theatre Kid sincerity from women makes them a target for the worst people on social media. And Zegler has been targeted more intensely lately because of the Disney Racists.
Its quite apparent you're not familiar with the show and that the role of Millie is an intensely dance-heavy role, which is why it was a huge spotlight for Sutton Foster and why it catapulted her career. It showcases not only a powerhouse voice, but strong comedic ability as well as crazy dance skills, including machine-gun power tap dancing ability.

I couldn't agree more, Jordan. I found him riveting.
He's got 3 movies waiting to be released - last I looked no specific dates posted (Warfare listed as this year, the other two in post production). So he's got a bit of press looming around the corner. And possibly season 4 of Heartstopper (but I'm begining to think that may not happen.)
But I would imagine the West End will get him before we do again.

I doubt this will be revived any time soon, but Zegler would be great as Lili in Carnival.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

Overshares her opinions on social media which rubs that vast majority wrong. Cynthia Erivo equaled her on this oversharing but has since learned to keep quiet and share her opinions just to personal friends instead of social media.

Mhm, that seems a bit harsh though. She's a young kid and in my opinion hasn't shared anything so controversial. Interesting that other actors are not held to the same standards.
The media and public opinion are seldom kind to women in Hollywood....as soon as they show themselves to have thoughts and opinions - especially young women.
I've only seen her in 2 things: R+J and WSS. I loved her in WSS, but thought she out of her league in this.
Based on that, she isn't a "name" that would either KEEP me from seeing a show nor have me rush TO see it.
