People have opinions on Dee and good or not you can't say they are wrong.
Wicked_Dee, you don't know the people on these boards, you don't know if one is on Broadway so you are really out of line.
You can like Dee and think she's the best, but you can't tell people they are wrong. It's all opinions.

But it doesnt mean i have to be rude! it only takes one to try and make a difference. Especially in regards to sticking up for performers who work so hard for what they do.

That's the most pathetic excuse I've ever heard for disrespect.
I understand that not everyone loves Dee Roscioli, and I'm not here to tell you that you're wrong or stupid if you don't like her. But is it really that hard to show respect for her as a person, if you can't do it for her as a performer? Respectfully voicing your opinion is fine, and while I may disagree because I happen to think Dee is the best Elphaba, I will respect your opinion because it's just as valid as mine, and you're a person. You deserve that much. But I have no respect for the behavior because it's flat out rude and despicable. I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't want someone to rip your performance apart when you're giving everything you have on that stage, so what makes you think it's okay to do it to someone else? For amusement? That's ridiculous. I think a 5 year old could show Dee more respect than some of the people on here.

Just saw this thread today thanks. hence i joined today in order to voice my opinion for dee. along with my FRIENDS.

So, I can assure you that I am not Wicked Dee or Tanz. Do I know them? Yes. But I am not them, they are not me, and they are not each other. Whether or not you choose to believe that is your own decision. *shrug* Either way, I don't particularly care.

I understand why some people don't like Dee, I saw her numerous times and while she's not my favorite, I respect her work as an artist.
In the same respect this is not WoO you guys, people on BWW are given a more freedom with their opinions and sometimes use humor to express themselves. It may not be what you agree with or you may not like the way they phrase some things but that is just how they are, that's what this site is, and it is not going to change because a nice amount of people are pleased with the site. I'm not saying that it's okay to disrespect a persons work, but you guys are only hurting your own feelings because you feel strongly about Dee, the people who posted the comments you don't like are not, so arguing with them back and forth will ultimately be a pain for you guys and entertainment for the others.
Also, they are all three different people. One of them was alarmed by the comments about Dee and asked some friends who support Dee to come vouch for her.

^thank you seemynameinlights. I totally understand what you're saying. I knew that when i signed up a few hours ago but still felt the need to at least voice a positive opinion for a great performer :)

The first time I saw Wicked I went to see a particular person and ended up seeing the understudy instead but I was actually suprised at how much I liked them. And in regards to Dee........I have seen her 5 times and she was amazing. One of the few performers I have sat and listen and never doubted her ability to hit a note. Her voice is very pure and it is very apparent that she easily reaches those notes. Everyone is allowed their own opinion but everyone also should be given a chance.
