People are accusing you of being the same because you all joined the same day just to complain about people not liking Dee. Some people have this thing called a sarcastic personality, you will find it a lot on this site. They respect opinions and share their opinions' in a sarcastic manor but never would anyone on this site where we all share a passion for theater would someone deliberately bash a performer. Just share opinions with each other in a sarcastic manor, if you're going to stay on this site I would get used to it.

First of all, this thread is hysterical. Pedophilia, socks, and clueless Wicked fans, what could be better?
Secondly, I saw Dee in Chicago, and was not too impressed. Her acting fell flat and her vocals were not quite up to par. I?ve seen three other ladies don the green in that piece of dreck, but would never want to see Dee again. Plus does anyone call her Ravioli?

Posted: 6/22/09 at 4:43pmWell, it can go many ways. They can pull a N2N and announce the day before (in the case of Kyle Dean Massey.) They can do how they normally do and announce about 3 or 4 weeks before they take over, or If they are super famous and/or returning to the role (Idina, Kerry, ect) months in advance. However the latter isn't an option. We should hear soonish.

Uh...to get back to the original question before all the craziness began on this thread, if anyone DOES learn who Nicole's replacement will be, I hope they will post it.
I notice Oz.wicki has taken down Dee's name, not that that's any indication of accuracy or actual knowledge.

That was over a week ago...maybe two. It's now just a little over three weeks til showtime.
I don't imagine they're still auditioning now. I'd guess the decision would have to be made already.

Dee had just been cast in the new Midtown Intl Theatre Festival musical "Connect/Disconnect" but mysteriously withdrew days before rehearsals began and was replaced by Heather Laws. She sited a family emergency in Chicago, but "C/D" opens July 21, days before the new Elphaba is to begin performances.

Actually, July 21 is the night the new Elphaba would begin (Nicole's final performance is July 19).
