This is a snooze fest. Does anybody know if there is a list of people who will be performing?

God, the Drama Desk itself could easily win Outstanding Work in Boring Award Ceremonies.

The band is killing me. It also must be pretty awkward to play a winner off the stage during their speech when you are 5 feet away from them.

The average age of those in the chat room has to be about 16.
The "plays suck" discussion is giving me a lot of hope for our future...

Does anybody know why THERESE RAQUIN appears not to have been in contention for the design awards? It seemed like a shoe-in on several fronts.

I really hope David Rockwell wins a Tony for the SHE LOVES ME set. Absolutely stunning.

Yeah-- I wished it had gone to Es Devlin for AP too. That design team made the show worth seeing for me. I know I'm in the minority in saying I found SHE LOVES ME's set an eyesore.

So glad they sang I Had A Vision from Bright Star - it was my favorite part of the show and they were beautiful.

Those revised orchestrations really did not deserve the award.

Strange music choices. "Walking on Sunshine" doesn't really scream ECLIPSED to me.

I agree. If it had to go to revisions, I wish they'd given this to The Color Purple. That show actually benefitted hugely from the new orchestrations.
