so if they dont win anything else -- they totally win FUN points!!!!
Whats up with Cyndi Lauper? she looks like RIFF RAFF from Rocky Horror.. she's a freakin side show.
WOW
Wedding Singer was frikin' Amazing!!
That number seems to have gotten the best audience response so far.
I can't say about the rest of the show, but that opening number was fab.
Molly Ringwald = deer trapped in headlights!!
I want to see the Wedding Singer, I need that kind of happiness in my morbid life right now
So far I think Wedding Singer takes the performance of the night. The energy was so huge.
Did you see that guy dancing along to wedding singer in the audience? Who was that?
give Wedding Singer a break.. they were so much fun to watch.
Ugh wedding singer brought up bad memories..... of seeing the wedding singer at the al hirschfeld in NYC

I love Stephen Lynch but that show is so, so bad. That was not the audience for Wedding Singer. It's so obvious that Wedding Singer is the redheaded step child in that room. No love, no respect.
I wish that THe Wedding Singer would have done a medley like Sweeney did..."It's your Wedding Day" is definitely not the best song in that show, even though it's a good one. If they had done a medley that could have featured all of the main cahracters in a medley of good songs, it would have been fantastic, probably best performance of the night. But...that was only so-so. Stephen Lynch is HOOOOT, though!
The "Wedding Singer" number was great and should help them sell a lot of tickets. Love is what I do!
And, don't shoot me but I think so far, the perfs have played out as:
1. Jersey Boys
2. Wedding Singer
3. Sweeney Todd
4. Drowsy Chaperone
they looked like they had a blast -- does anyone else think stephen lynch looked a little nervous? or overwhelmed about being at the Tonys?
I think that was the perfect number for Wedding Singer to choose. It seemed to get a really good audience response and played well on tv. I think that will help boost ticket sales.

Yeah that guy was getting down to WS. But did you notice the three guys to his right? They were like statues.
Dude, Robert Morse. Right ON.
I agree it had energy..but come on....
hahah -- the Knights on Broadway!
I'm fond of the space in between Robert Morse's teeth. He's quite cute.

The Jersey Boys were, by far, the most enjoyable to me so far!
