That was um.... Yeah, that's I'm all I'm gonna say.
i feel so dirty after having watched that.
are the back rows so dark because they stick all the uglies in the back?
choreography on risers? that must have sucked.

Oh My God! "Up With People" is back!
They could have added some harmonies. Girls always an octave higher than the guys = annoying.
God, I am such a snob.

The sweeter the sizzle the richer the taste?
My eyes! My ears! My poor, poor ears!
...is it sad that I actually OWN Run and Tell That and can actually sing it better than I can most of the Link Larkin songs...
Maybe I'll post my version in a second so Marc for all of your enjoyment (...and ridicule of course)
hah...but this over-enunciation is driving me bonkers...I mean besides the obvious fact that they edited entire point of the song OUT of the song.

i uhh....well...its not bad but they butcherd that beloved SOUL song >_<
What makes me more happy than that wonderful rendition is that Marc actually posted it. haha. I am not a huge show fan choir. There is an awful "Once Upon A Time" from BKLYN out there and while it may not be a great show it is not a choir song in any means. I just love how the make everything so proper...oh so funny!!
LLW I am not gonna lie....although "It Takes Two" is my staple audition song...I would love to be Seaweed.

Yeah, Marc, I'm cracking up at the fact that somewhere out there, this terrible male soloist has no idea that the composer of the song he just threw over a rafter and hung is cracking up at his efforts.
Energetic enough choir, though, I'll give them that...
That's just...odd.
I can imagine their choir director now......"OK, take out all the BLACK stuff!"
That's not even half as bad as when I went to an audition and a young white girl got onstage and performed a monolouge about how hard it is to be a black girl!

Marc... can you sue? lol
Oh, gosh. That girl with Inez's part.
"Now, totally change the tone of my voice in 5, 4, 3, 2..."
Managed to fit the Stricken Chicken in there, though!

I love crappy show choirs. Thanks for sharing, Marc.

Marc - just an inquiry for curiosity's sake....do you get royalties for performances like that?
There should be a law...
That was truly frightening.
My favorite part was the Inez solo though, I seriously almost knocked my tea over when she... can you even call that going to head voice?
Just so you dont' feel alone Marc, their other choir massacres Jason Robert Brown's "River Won't Flow"......
Ouch!
OK... Speaking from Show Choir experience. They did a pretty good job.
Speaking as someone who knows better.... OHMIGOD WTF WAS THAT!!!!
That was campier than the white Miss America contestant in the early 90's singing "And I Am Telling You"!
This is gayer than "Right Before My Eyes."
*cringe*
I just dont get show choirs.
