Per PerezHilton, Britney Spears saw Wicked at the Pantages last night.

She MUST be in talks to play Glinda.

That is funny since I saw her at the show the last two times I saw it. She was there when I saw it in NY and on the last performance of the tour in LA.

Actually, maybe she can play Clara in the Piazza Tour. It might boost sales and the audience will have no problem understanding that Clara is "special".

Seriously who would go see her? Wait... that's it! If she comes people will buy so much tickets to see how *good* she is as Elphaba! I can imagine her belting out defying gravity and adding little touches to the song (heyeyeyeye) and breathing more heavily than Idina.

Was reading the title and rose an eyebrow (YES A TALENT)... I see someone gets happy so quickly.

Speaking of Broadway and movies, casting for 'Wicked' -- or at least, casting ideas -- is brewing. I hear BRITNEY SPEARS has expressed interest in starring as the green witch. "She is obsessed with the musical," a source says. "She listens to the CD all the time in her car. She bought 10 copies of the CD at a mall to give as gifts."

(It's an old article but still...please God, no.)
