And yes, prices are cheaper for Donna's performances. I got my ticket from TDF and it was only $47 + service charges. As I said in another post, I sat in the orchestra, Row P. I was very happy with the seat but I've never been a "seat snob". Outside the theater, some people mentioned that their TDF seats were in the front mezz. Also, the show was available on TKTS today.
Apparently Amanda LaMotte went on for the first time as Minnie Fay yesterday. Did anyone here see her? I saw the matinee on Saturday and Hayley Podschun was on as Minnie. It was my fifth time seeing it (twice with Donna). Pure joy.
This is the first time I've seen the show without the original cast. It was strange seeing 3 new men in the ensemble.
Hey Dottie!
Did your colleagues enjoy the cake even though your cat decided to sit on it? ~GuyfromGermany
I'm about to buy side orchestra right Row B seats but I'm really confused about where that row is. Some seat maps have orchestra starting at row AA, other row B? Anyone know?
Also how obstructed will the view be from the far right orchestra (row B) seats? What will we miss?
I had to cancel our front balcony seats last week because of a family emergency this is one of the few options I'm finding for 5 seats together.
Saw this show Friday njght. Wow. What a great night of theatre. The whole cast is magnificent. Bette is such a natural comedienne and such a giving performer. David Hyde Pierce amazing as well. There was actually a technical glitch during Act Two in a scene between Bette and David. It was hilarious to see them try to play it off until finally the stage manager had to pull them off the stage and fix the issues with their mics. I didn’t actually mind it. It just made the evening that much more memorable as I saw something no one else will have seen except for the people that were in the theater with me that night.

I saw Amanda go on on the evening of 11/5. I thought she did a great job as Minnie - though she did fall on the passerelle during Dancing - she recovered quickly and continued on. I agree with you about seeing all of the new faces in the ensemble. Sunday night was also Stephen Hanna's last night with the show. It was my 6th time seeing the show - I can't get enough!
So my very generous sister got me a ticket to see Hello, Dolly! with Bette this Saturday night (11/18 at 8pm), but I unfortunately have a time conflict now. Does anyone happen to have a single ticket for the matinee on Saturday that they'd be willing to trade? I would just try to exchange it, except it was bought via StubHub. The seat is Row J, Seat 1, in the Balcony Sides.
Got a TDF ticket for last night (Tuesday). It was row E, house right, seat 14. 4 rows from the stage.
The rows start at row B. The show was fantastic. Murphy was just wonderful. Had Christian Dante White as Cornelius. I have heard how good Creel is but, oh my God, White was just incredible. People lept to their feet when he took his curtain call.
The seat was fine. I did miss a bit on stage left. Missed the closet in the hat shop, no big deal really. I could not see Ernestina in the booth until she leaned forward for the dancing thing and I had to lean left to catch a bit of it. I figure the people behind me and over a seat or more to the right missed it all.
I would not want to sit front row for the show. I could be wrong but since the sets are behind the passerelle, I would think that for a lot of the show you may not see their feet. I hope I am wrong. Especially with the womderful choreography.
Asode from tjose 2 tjongs, my seat was perfect and I even got pointed and winked at by Donna at one point!
Quite a few excellent $229 seats available on Telecharge for tomorrow, November 21, which is a rare Tuesday Bette performance. Honestly, there are too many to list, but there are 20 in the orchestra, and 1 in the mezzanine.
Quite a few excellent $229 seats available on Telecharge for all Bette performances, today through Sunday. Some front side orchestra, as well as front center/side mezzanine!

There are still a bunch of really great $229 seats available on Telecharge for both shows on Saturday, and Sunday, With less than 2 months left to see Bette, this is a great opportunity!
Looks like I may be in NYC Christmas Eve and there are a scant few (three, to be exact) Premium Seats remaining. Other than that it’s sold out. Am I reading the schedule correctly that Bette Midler will be playing Dolly for the 2pm performance?
One member of my party may not be able to make the show tomorrow. She will be letting me know late tonight, but thought I'd throw it out there on here just in case someone is interested. Wednesday, 12/6 2pm matinee - Bette is on as Dolly. Mezzanine, row H, seat 6. If it's available, it will be $200 (what we paid). The rest of us are still going, so I can meet at the door to swap ticket/payment.
Will update later tonight to confirm the ticket is definitely available. Thanks!
If anyone is interested in seeing Bette again, or for the first time, there are A LOT of excellent/amazing $229 orchestra and front mezzanine seats available on Telecharge for this holiday weekend, from tonight, 12/21, through Tuesday evening, 12/26.

Just wanted to say Thank You for the heads-up! I was able to grab two tickets (dead center, front row Mezz) for the evening performance on 12/26! After seeing the show 7 times with Donna, we were super excited to get to see the show with see Bette.

You're welcome! Can't do much better than front row center mezzanine!!!
Just checked Telecharge, and there are a lot of awesome $229 tickets available for all of Bette's remaining shows, starting with today's matinee. Quite a few front row center mezzanine seats, and even some great seats (mezzanine E 2-8 & E 5-7) for the Sunday 1/14 show at 2:00 p.m.
I've sat in the box seats. Unless you can get a discount of sorts, as I did ($47 partial view with Donna Murphy), I'd avoid them. While you don't miss much and you are relatively close to the stage you miss and only can hear certain scenes, depending which side you're on.
